The ending left was really rushed.

We dont get to c any of the side characters aftermath.

The fights scenes were horrible. Even her sword technique she learn which was suppose to be ultimate technique became use less.

They didnt tell what happened to princess folian or wujis aunts daughter.

Is the ending the beginning of the series?

I know it changed compared to novel where its time travel story and big bad is grand teacher but they really rushed ending. Felt like wuji family story should be end of story.

It was a poor story!

But acting by Yang Mi is AMAZING!!!

I really love the ending where they didn't die although I did question the "why isn't he dead yet? He's been sliced like so many times, all bloody and stuff....." but in any case at least they got together.

I feel like they should have shorten or cut out Wu Ji's family story, it just went on too long and if they were going to have this whole crazy Fu Yao possessed by Di Fei Tian, I just didn't buy it. It just wasn't properly done. The writing just got lazy like the last 10 episodes or so. That's why I had binge watch so much only to be disappointed by the last 8-10 episodes. It felt rushed, yes, but more so like they gave up on giving it a proper and more developed ending. It makes me want to then read the novel to see how it was suppose to be done. I like the cast and how hot Yang Mi and Ethan Ruan's chemistry was, just feel like they spent too long on Wu Ji's parents and uncle story.
