death at a funeral.
Salt. Awesome movie that made me doubt myself even when I thought I knew for sure how things would play out. Is she or isn't she?
Really? Angelina Jolie is in a good action movie for once? This isn't a chic version of the Bourne Identity? I'll have to check it out then.
Saw the new Karate Kid.
Funny how they still call it karate kid even though you don't hear karate even once in the movie, just Kung Fu.
As with what my friends say. It's a decent movie, not bad considering all the crap that passes off as action movies these days.
Bourne was based on Robert Ludlum's book, and although entertaining, it was shallow. I've just never seen a good Jolie action movie, so I assumed the worse.
I liked Bourne, just that I read the book too.
When you say high gear. Are we talking Jolie's Wanted level of suspension of disbelief?
I thought Salt sucked. Really badly. It was terrible and a waste of time and money. =)
I finally saw Planet 51 yesterday. It was kinda cute, I guess.
Flipped (2010). I enjoyed it very much, but the end feels rushed.
it's complicated, robin b hood, and the spy next door.
the worst was definitely the spy next door.
hard to judge the best out of the 3. :p robin b hood was surprisingly good.
Salt.
Definitely did not like it. It's not as bad as some movies. But still, pretty lackluster. Don't know how Jolie could knock anyone out with her girly punches.
Car chases are always done stupidly, I don't know why hollywood keeps persisting with them.
Halfway through the movie it just lost it's feel. I was left wondering why I'm just watching it. There's no longer any connection with the title character. By trying to keep it ominous we can no longer relate to her and her struggle and it just comes down to guns firing.
I have just seen Babies, a documentary by Thomas Balmes. It was engaging experience. It witnesses life of four infants from birth to first birthday. The babies come from four different cultures and living conditions, but surprisingly it was so similar how they learned to crawl, talk, and walk. Definitely felt much better than Expendables or Robin Hood.
Paranha sux. 3/10 for the special effects. Most pointless movie I've seen for a long time.
But, good for those to likes gore and fright.
Finished both watching Liar Game:The Final Stage.I do like how it was wrapped up and Nao has really become alittle bit smarter :)Not really a spoiler,if you had follow the previous Season 1 & 2. Also,just finished a nice movie:Taipei Exchange 2010;http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1682949/.This is rather a nice story,not about love between girl or boy.But,the value of exchanging good or services to gain something back both internal or external.The old barter system :)
Watched 1/3 of 'The Last Temptation of Christ'.
watched a really awesome mind boggling artsy film called =====accident;
A self-styled accident choreographer, the Brain is a professional hitman who kills his victims by trapping them in well crafted accidents that look like unfortunate mishaps but are in fact perfectly staged acts of crime.
After one mission accidentally goes wrong, causing the life of one of his men, the Brain is convinced that this accident has been choreographed: someone is out there plotting to terminate him and his team. He becomes increasingly paranoid, walking on the thin line between reality and delusion.
:eek::eek::eek::eek:
I like Sword and Sorcery movies and books and I saw the movie Merlin and the Book of Beasts listed on TV. The description seemed promising enough so that I recorded it for later viewing. Yuk! I fast forwarded it, with a few scene viewings, to the end just to see how it came out...:eek::p
Toy Story 3. Again. I enjoyed it more this second time around.
I also watched Predators and about half an hour of Twilight: Eclipse . These were all on the plane, so slim pickings.
