*Cat*-Beating Stick Technique: my afternoon at work today.

I was tutoring at a student's house this afternoon when suddenly, his family's black cat went nuts and attacked him for no reason...fastening his claws into his leg and refusing to let go, drawing blood.

I grabbed a broomstick from the utility closet and proceeded to show the cat "Cat Beating Stick Technique," which drew its attention to me. It then tried to claw my leg, but fortunately for me, I was wearing thick, corduroy pants (Hah! Take that, black cat!).

I countered with another move from "Cat Beating Stick Technique" and sent the cat scurrying. The cat did not disturb us again for the remainder of the afternoon. :)

that's nothing, when i was in the Singapore Armed Forces provost dog unit, we had an actually DOG BEATING STICK, well we called it the (DBS version 1.0)"stick of justice" but it was primarily used on dogs for training. but it got broken by one of our dogs when our Sergeant was training a dog. it took a little chuck out of our sergeants chest too. we gave the dog an extra treat that day. and after that, we made DOG BEATING STICK version 2.0. "punishment of heaven".

I'm going to report you guys to PETA for animal cruelty an inhumane behaviour huhu :laugh2:

Is your student okay? If he is, has he asked you to teach him the moves?

Cats can be so unpredictable. Is this the first time it's attacked someone?
