CrazyLilAngel,
The color palatte used to be really bad. I fiddled with it and it now looks halfway decent. But thanks for the response.

No problem. Was just trying to help, but the colors on the picture portions do look more vibrant.
I'm really ignorant about this kind of stuff, just succeeded in uploading my avatar 2 days ago :), can you guys pls tell me how to make a changing avatar? Have a few pics that I'm considering to upload. Thx in adv.
Well, you have to make a gif. I recommend using Adobe Photoshop. Or else you could just ask a friendly member of the forum to make one for you.
It's not about uploading them to SPC. You have to use an imaging program to make them individual frames so you may animate it and save it as a .gif that you can upload.Quote:

If you can't do it, you can upload your pics somewhere, or give me the links to the pics if they're already online, and I can do it for you this weekend. (PM me if you need my help).

Is the word 'compere' now the 'stylish' form of the word 'compare'? I mean like 4you etc. Or do you mean the French word compere?

A compere is "The master of ceremonies, as of a television entertainment program or a variety show".
As a verb, it means "To serve as master of ceremonies (for an event, etc)".
The word has both French and Latin roots.
Yeah. Dictionary.com lists "compere" as a chiefly British usage. Truth be told, I had no idea what it meant when I first came upon it as well.
So did you sit through the entire icon? What did you think?
Your icon? It's okay. I'm not a fan of Guo Liang and I don't think much of his acting.Quote:

The point is I want to change it to another custom avatar but can't do it at the moment. There's no upload function anymore.
Ah... It should still be there. click on "User CP' at top, then "edit avatar" on the left hand navigation and choose to use a custom avatar.Quote:

I thought the custom avatar was a privilege not a right :D
Anyways I am kind of used to those that post a lot with their original avator. I always thought those stand out more then the name of the person. So if you are one of those that switch a lot, it confuse old folks like me :)
