Ricky Hui (許冠英), the middle brother of the Hui brothers (the two other brothers are Michael Hui 許冠文 and Sam Hui 許冠傑), has died of a heart attack. He had acted in many comedic roles in HK films in the 80s and 90s.

Sad to hear that. Always did like the Hui Brothers' work in both film and music.

I had always liked him in the old movies eventhough he played clown roles. He was multi-talented like his other brothers, but just did not have the fame or luck to go with it.
Now two of the trio in the "Mr. Vampire" movie have passed away... :sigh:

Actually, there are 4 brothers. Ricky Hui is the 3rd brother. His 3 brothers are Michael Hui, Stanley Hui and Sam Hui.Quote:
