It's Federer vs Roddick in the finals!!
Prediction - Federer in 4 sets.
I can't believe Murray lost to Roddick. There goes the British hope of a modern-day Fred Perry.

i was surprised that murray lost too.
anyways roddick's worst enemy has always been federer. logic tells me federer in 4 too, but i hope its roddick in 5 :D
It be most likely a straight set victory to Federer but im rooting for A-Rod to pull through and take revenge for 04 & 05. :D
Really don't know who to support. Andy Roddick deserves the title as well - he's really worked for it.
Well, my guess will be Federer wins in 4 sets
wow nice to see Serena beating Venus after her really close semi final win. 11 Grand slam titles
federer is going to win for sure but it's going to be close. I just hate serena she thinks she's better than anyone else if it wasn't for that loser dementieva for giving it away
I doubt there be a challenge to Federer. He be too good again.
Federer wins in epic 5 sets!!!! 16-14 in the fifth set
So now Federer has regained the #1 ranking and has surpassed Sampras' all time grand slam mark with 15 titles.
Yay...Congrats to Fed for his record-breaking 15th GS win :D Now, go get 09 US Open and 10 Australian Open then you'll get "Roger Slam" :D:D Or better yet, win a calendar GS next year...you can still do it :)
I pretty much missed the whole Wimbledon this year. There's NONE Wimbledon TV coverage whatsoever in my home country :(
I said before that my dream final for Wimby was Fed-Murray....but when Roddick won over Murray, for whatever reasons I was happy too...I kinda wanted him to get the title if only he wasn't playing Fed....the guy deserved to win too after all his hardwork. Go Roddick...
dang roddick did good too
roddick choked the 2nd. but that's probably the best game i've ever seen.
i fell asleep after the first set but i am abit surprised that Roddick played so well. So close yet so far from title.
Both players deserves to win. Roddick played his best tennis yet. He was a worthy opponent indeed and no one can say he don't deserve to be in the final standing opposite to Federer. I am very happy that Federer won, but sad that Roddick lost. First time I felt that way in a grand slam final.
Yeah both players deserved to win and Roddick gave a monster effort and performance. Can't believe the past two wimbledon finals were 5-set overtime epics
My prediction for the US Open - Roger Federer :)
Roger Federer now currently holds 3 of the 4 Grand Slam titles.
Did anybody watch the last 2 tourneys (Montreal & Cincinnati)?
What do you guys think about the switching of world #2 & #3? While I like Murray a while back, now I seem to kinda 'hate' him. I was happy that he got into #2 (anything that can knock down Nadal makes me happy :D)...but then he started to become big headed & big mouthed, saying that the gap between him & the world #1 is not far, he'll overtake it before the year end. WTF? And then to watch him hitting his knuckles in Cincy semi, yelling arrogantly, I lost my respect for the guy.
And while I don't like Nadal, I have to say Nadal wasn't there to defend his #2 spot because of injury otherwise Murray might not be able to leapfrogged Nadal. Federer & Nadal are still a level above Murray & Djokovich :) The rest of the pack are catching up not too far behind those 2 though.
Now I'm waiting for US Open....Fed, Nadal, Murray, Djokovich, DelPotro, Roddick should make an interesting USO if they play their best games....and hopefully Federer can get his 16th GS here :)
Ghaleon : your Sharapova jumped 19 spots to #30 this week. She's progressing slowly but nicely....Women tennis will be a bit more interesting with Sharapova improving & Clijters' comeback......
yep - you're right about Murray getting big headed. I also always support Federer rather than Nadal, but at least the both of them are much more humble and sporting compared to Murray who just like to talk big.
Anybody's watching US Open? Let's discuss :)
Say goodbye to Marat Safin's GrandSlam career. 2 GS total.
Kim Clijsters made it into 3rd round. One of the more interesting player to watch on the women's side.
biggg dissapointment from some girls from the women side, "Ana Ivonovic out early, Radwanski, dementiva
IM rooting for Nadal and federal cannot pick a side between those two hehe:D
Go Maria Sharapova:D
i will root for my american tennis player Andy rodick.
