I am just curious...would he?
He would try, but of course HR would find a way to save GF. ;)
I wouldn't've killed her.
I would've chopped off her arms and legs so she could have a lifetime to reflect on her past misdeeds!
I don't think he would. Killing his own daughter is different from chopping off his daughter's arm.
If he did, he would probably live in guilt forever. Maybe he wouldn't feel much of it at first, but as time passes, he probably would feel the guilt.
uh huh.
And then, to others, death is the absolute end, so any smidgen of life mitigates whatever suffering one might experience.
I'm being a little facetious though (my apologies)--I'm not sure GJ has the stomach for that. I don't think I do either, although theoretically, one can probably make the argument that GF deserves the fate. I'll let others come up with that argument, as I lack the time...
Thus, the compromise might be chopping off some body parts of GF. If that turned out to be worse (in pain and suffering, from her point of view) than killing her, he could always kill her. If that turned out to be better than killing her, he would perhaps have been "merciful"--not always a bad thing.
gack that sounded cold-blooded... but I think I tend to sound cold-blooded when GF is being discussed >.<
nah he would do it
GJ's an eye for an eye type of person so I don't see why he wouldn't. The only people I see him not killing if they killed YG would be his teachers, HR, ZBT, the Chuen Zhen masters, YiDengand Wong Yerk Ci (people he respect plus HR). Of course, if HYS wasn't his dad in law, GJ would attempt to kill him too (like he did in LOCH).
I think GJ would've gone mad.
He clearly couldn't kill HR despite his (remaining) master's prompting despite her being the daughter of the murderer (he thought) of all the rest of his masters because of his love. I think GJ still loved GF and wouldn't be able to kill her outright. Turning it over and over in his mind would disturb his ki or something and he'd end up like OYF :p:D
why did GJ loved YG so much? is it because of his guilt that he feels responsible for YK's death?
in a way YG was the son GJ never had
First of all, YK deserves to die and GJ shouldn't have any sympathy for him. YK deserves what he get. Even if GF had kill YG, I don't think he would kill her as HR would definitely defend GF. However, GJ might send GF to Peach Blossom Island for years as a punishment...
what about if YG killed GF after learning HIS? would GJ tried to kill YG although at this point GJ might not be able to kill YG already
I think Gwok Jing would forgive Yeung Gor's killing Gwok Fu; he'd probably consider it fair compensation for Gwok Fu's having lopped off Yeung Gor's arm.
But at this point, if it were to come down to a Gwok Jing vs. Yeung Gor fight (gee, I think we have a thread on that, don't we?), Yeung Gor would lose. He wasn't ready to solo a Great yet (especially not Gwok Jing). Sixteen years later, it would be a disputable fight. At the point where Yeung Gor has just gained the Heavy Iron Sword, he'd put up a good showing, but he'd still go down against the defender of Seung Yeung.
GJ might commit suicide because of guilt but he won't kill GF.
