hmmm.... I always thought that Ling Ling's grandmother was actually Lin Xian'Er. Maybe I was wrong..
I think she was a third person. Either way... doesn't really matter.

BTW... why was Li Xun Huan's hands shaking before?? Was he poisoned by Ling2??
Probably just from the despair or something.

One thing that irks me though is that JWM isn't anything like what he was in the Taiwan Adaption. I always thought of that guy as pretty cool, but this one is just a @#$%^! (hopes for a change of heart in the next half of the book)
Well, he's not anything like the taiwan adaptation. As for whether that makes him better or worse, I guess, is up to the reader. He'll play a bigger role later on, but not nearly as much as in the series.

1. Wonder how they [Songyang, Wuming, JinHong] cut 60% of the forests leaves ...
Cause they're good? :p
As for why GSY did not even attempt to kill JWM. He knew he could not defeat both SGJH and JWM together. If he had gone all out against JWM, SGJH would've definitely interfered. Remember SGJH is not exactly the most righteous guy around.
It's arguable just who is the better swordsman, JWM or GSY. Personally, through reading this book and Bian Cheng Lang Zi(semi-sequel), I would go with JWM, but not by much. But basically, JWM and Ah Fei certainly are comparable to the top five fighters ranked.
