I really lurve books of fantasy. It need not be the really fantasy ones like sorcerers in the olden time and bla bla. It's just something we won't experience in real life. I mean, anything could happen in the world, just that we are unaware. What I'm unaware of is, there could be vampires lurking out there!
Anyone here reading Wild Swans: Three Dauguters of China by Jung Chang?

Really cool book. Interested, read it for yourself. ;)
I never thought I had to read this book again, but I am. Mark Twain's The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn.
Finishing Moby Dick tonight and starting Huck Finn tomorrow.:p
S.M. Stirling's "Dies the Fire" ............... another post apocalyptic novel but with more optimism than McCarthy's "The Road". The story is about a mysterious catastrophe that caused all machines to die (even gunpowder won't work anymore) and so the world is plunged into complete chaos and anarchy. The plot follows 3 different groups of survivors and how they adapted to their new world.
oOOH...
