She can't stop being angry yet she can't vent her anger on her own family, so her husband and his family are the only targets cause they can't do anything to her in return.
But she is blinded by her anger that she fails to see (then) that they only reason why het husband is "betraying" her is that he is doing it for her, and Yau Yin is saddened because she fails to see this. But Man Ching provides some undrstanding, and maybe because they share a same pressure (being forced to have kids), they have something in common and bond, and then fall in love.
