Hmmm. I don't think Felix turned bad but he got really sensitive and suspicious from what he had endured. But he snapped out of it.
He truly believed that Gallen was the one who framed him for kicking him into the sea (Felix punched Gallen out and then left, but Nick came up and pushed Gallen into the sea and Gallen truly thought it was Felix who did it) and got him 6 months in prison to get to his wife, Amy. And when he gets released, his wife has rekindled her relationship with Gallen.
His niece, Melissa, commits suicide because of Gallen and before her death, she visits him in prison and tells him that Gallen broke up with her because Amy seduced him. His other niece tells him the exact same thing. So Gallen is not exactly on his friend's list.
Then some triads who tried to get close to him in prison suddenly kidnapped Gallen thinking it would make him happy but he knew nothing about it. Amy came and yelled at him and he got really pissed off. But he still paid off the triads and warned them about not touching Gallen again.
Eventually, he sees that Amy is truly happy with Gallen and he finds out that Nick is the manipulator. Then he uses his body to shield Gallen from bomb shrapnel and goes blind. But still, he is the one who travels all the way to overseas while blind to track down Gallen and convince him to return to Amy.
