Episode 11 - Siu Hong and Yat Ngoi overcome their differences
Leung escorts Hong and Fong to pay respects to Shun and realises that they had another son, Hong grits his teeth and says that it was Ngoi’s obstinacy which led to the death of Shun. Ha unexpectedly receives a CD-ROM which contains much of Hong’s newspaper cuttings and pictures and his thoughts lead him to go and find Hong. When Hong sees these cuttings and pictures, he is shocked. On the beach where Shun met his death, Ngoi has flashbacks of the incident and the tragedy and as she burns her diary, she tells Shun of the happy times she has been through, when Hong and Fing hear this, they are touched. Hong regrets thinking that Ngoi did not care about Shun’s death and therefore giving her undue pressure and the father and daughter finally overcome their differences. Ngoi thanks Ha and Leung for their help and changes her opinion on Ha. Leung sees a magazine on the news stand showing her, Hong and Lai on the cover, saying she has found two good partners, she is very angry and Ha comforts her saying that the innocent will come clean.
King busily peels the ginger for the ginger-vinegar pot and makes Sweet Soup for Chu to rid her of the womb toxins, but Chu does not accept this and wants to try and remove her wedding ring, all are helpless. Tina and the others see that Hong’s attitude towards Ngoi has changed and has a different opinion on Ha and Leung, so they hurriedly change their plans. Fan hears that Lai is attracted to Leung and is very excited about this, Lai puts in some good words for Leung. Lai uses the excuse that he wants to make it clear to the press and he asks Leung out on a date, then he takes her to a video games arcade. Hong agrees to let Ngoi design the hotel-style interior furnishings to be use with the joint project with Tin Lung and she is overjoyed, but Hau points out that they have already employed the famous designer Kenneth Ma for this task, Hong suggests that they work together on the design. Lai feels that Ngoi’s stance will not be as strong as Kenneth and is afraid her ideas will be not be as good, Ha observes this and has a decision. Ha takes Ngoi to the Peak and takes her through a design thought process, Ngoi benefits greatly from this. Ngoi’s “Garden in the Sky” design is highly praised by Lai, King and the others but when Lai hears that it is Ha who has led her to her inspiration, his heart sinks. Chu is about to give birth but Fei and the others cannot find King. King rushes to the hospital and the first thing he asks whether the baby is a girl or a boy, Chu is hurt and angrily tells him to leave.
I always thought you didn't care about Shun's death and gave you so much pressure, I never realised you hurt so deeply...
