ATV held a promotional event for its imported show "Shu Gim Yan Sau Look" (The Legend of the Book and Sword) with guest appearances from Esther Kwan, Vincent Zhao, Ray Lui and his wife and Cheng Pui Pui. At the premiere, there was a charity auction where a special carved lamp was sold to Ray's wife Yeung Siu Kuen for HK$10,000.

Esther is concentrating her career on Mainland productions at the moment and whether or not she will return to TVB will be down to fate. She indicates that although there are many people returning to TVB at the moment, it's not her turn yet. As for boyfriend Nick Cheung mentioning that they will soon be married, Esther says: "It will be soon! I have to go along with what he says, I can't say the opposite! He says he has to win "Ah Wong" (From "Square Pegs") before we get married." So how will "Shu Gim" have to do for her to get married? "20 points would make me consider it. With such high expectations, it's all just because I hope there will be surprising results." Was she angered by earlier reports that she was pregnant? "I was so mad! Such rumours!" Esther says that she will definitely have kids with Nick.

Esther is a good actress in some TVB series (yer, i know shes now with ATV nowadays thank you) !

I have seen her a lot at TVB series during a few years back. I remember the first time i saw her on TV was the series called
Armed Reaction 1 in 1998.

The other series i saw her in were...

Burning Flames 1
Armed Reaction 1 & 2
The Legendary Four Aces (2 acting roles !!!)
A Loving Spirit
Anti-Crime Squad (Cameo appearence...at the final epsiode !!!)

Still i like her looks nowadays with long hair rather than short hair like in Burning Flames 1 in the beginning story parts, lol !

Esther is not with ATV Esther makes China productions series now,ATV only sometimes bought the rights to air them like Queen of Cakes its a China prodution serie but ATV bought the rights to air it

no not only ATV airs them it depends on which company like it and wanna buy it .... i got the feeling that's Esther's new serie with Dicky Cheung will air at TVB not sure ......

and yes i'm a big Esther fan she's one of my all time favourite actress

did anyone see her in atv's 90's production of "the burning flame" with simon yam tak wah & ng,ngai-cheung & other artists?

it was overall good.

she played the villain in here.

the themesong was great.

also atv's production:
esther kwan wing ho started out working for atv before she moved to tvb. I think she met her boyfriend nick cheung ka fai while working in atv.

she was also in "hong kong criminal archives--the drug smugglers" with co-star chan ting wai & other artists.

I remember see her face in some much earlier series, she used to played an extra or some minor role before she gets leading roles.
