Haha, that was quite funny... its amazing how trashy teens magazine seem to worship her very existence and praise her for things that most sane people find it a big turn off.

But according to Jolin, all it took was Traditional Chinese medicines, acupuncture and aromatherapy massage. With the help of these things, she's been able to go from an A-cup to a C-cup, already quite an achievement. Add in a very good bra and padding, and you get a buxom beauty.

Ahem, if its really so easy to turn from an A-cup to C-up just by depending on Chinese medicine and stuff... I reckon that we will have no flat chested people around by the end of 2005 since the secret is out.

By the way, since the topic of her dieting came up... I have read somewhere that not only does she not eat sweet stuff, she dips her food in water to remove the oil before eating them. Eeewwwwwwwwwwww..........

Anyway Jolin actually wrote some lyrics on her own, not bad actually, though I think it's more of literary talent rather than musical talent to write lyrics. To me, tune is more important (e.g. Jay composes tune, Penny composes both tune and lyrics)

Exactly. That's why I'm wondering whether she's interested in becoming a porn star. She's way too short and skinny and enhanced busts wouldn't make her beautiful or sexy.

As for her writing lyrics, that's no big deal really. I don't find her lyrics wonderful or poetic. Knowing how to compose tunes and play different musicial instruments is considered talented to me, not writing lyrics as anyone good in mandarin can do that. Alternatively, she can copy sentences from chinese books.

I have to disagree a little... I find lyrics very important in a song. It may be the tune that catches our attention first, but its often the lyrics that makes me fall in love with the song. Jay writes great tunes that for sure, but his lyrics are so-so only when compared to Fang Wen Shan and Huang Jun Lang.
Anybody who is good in chinese can write great stories, articles, poems or whatever. But to be able to tell a story or express an idea in less than 200 words (lyrics are rarely more than 200 words) coherently and eloquently is an art in its own. Don't dismiss lyrics writing as a non-talent. Try it and you will know that its not easy.

As for her dieting rubbish, its totally sending out the wrong message to her fans. That it is alright to diet excessively and to be severely underweight is beautiful seems to be the message she is sending out. She is not fit to be an idol.
Ain't Jolin suppose to be studying English Lit at some university?? Hmph... I wonder how good (or bad) is her English....

I listen to some jpop and kpop too... but not as much as english and chinese music. Reason being I don't understand what they are singing, the tune may be great, but it just lack a little something for me. Guess it vary from person to person... hmm, but i still dont think we should dismiss lyrics writing as something easy.

It might be possible that she has an eating disorder... isn't this sort of stuff suppose to be common among the female artistes? Some female artiste once commented that in the entertainment industry, its ok for a female artiste to be not very pretty and not very talented, but it is an absolute must that she cannot be fat. By the way, their definition of fat is kinda different from us. Fat to them is weighing over 45 kg when you are only 1.6 m.
