DY is my second favorite after GJ (and I start liking HYS now). I think I see some of DY's quality that many of you cannot see or appreciate. It is personal but, in DGSD, I like DY much more than XF and XZ.

U r not alone. Duan Yu is not my all time favourite character, but among the 3 brothers in DGSD, I like DY the most.

Just want to add something. Initially I don't like XF very much while watching DGSD97, but after reading the explaination of XF's decision to commit suicide by some XF fans, I like him a lot more. So, he was actually close behind DY in my liking. . I like the later XF who value life, but dislike the earlier blood-thirsty XF.
