Just wondering if Hong7Gong would have been any different if he hadn't lost his index finger to his gluttoney. As in would it have affected his martial arts in any way, like be more stronger?

makes it sound as if he accidentally bit off his finger while eating. lol
I don't think it's gonna make any different. Although he lost his finger, he still has his palm to perform HL18Z.
Disappeared Into Unannoying Signature
Agreed. The force from XL18Z comes from the palm, not the fingers - unlike 9YBGZ.Originally Posted by ToOn99

He might have been a slightly different person...maybe. Didnt he learn a valuable lesson when he lost that finger?
All that's needed to say have been said, why say anything more? The man is drunk, why stay any longer?....

how did he lose that finger??
TaZzY InC
He cut it off because he got distracted by food and let an ally die once. It was self-inflicted punishment, and a permanent reminder of his responsibilities.Originally Posted by Tazzy1972
any mention of who the ally was??

I don't remember well, but I think it was one of his Beggar's Union comrades.Originally Posted by Tazzy1972

like what's he gonna do with one finger, tickle his enemies to death.
has anyone read asipic roch comics. in the drawings the mighty snap(divine flicking skill) from HYS is done by making a fist and flicking your middle finger out. kind of fits that HYS best skill is giving the 'finger' to his foes.
THE KYSS OF THE SWORD IS DEADLY BUT EXQUSITE
he's the strongest in history but he's the disciple.

losing that finger certainly didnt do much to curb his gluttony
He couldn't help that, but he was never going to let it prevent him from carrying out his responsibilities again.Originally Posted by qiaofeng
