Just wondering if Hong7Gong would have been any different if he hadn't lost his index finger to his gluttoney. As in would it have affected his martial arts in any way, like be more stronger?

I don't think it's gonna make any different. Although he lost his finger, he still has his palm to perform HL18Z.

Agreed. The force from XL18Z comes from the palm, not the fingers - unlike 9YBGZ.
