Rayon-nechan beat me to it. Although I must admit I couldn't have made better suggestions coz I'm only currently reading the Condor Trilogy novel. But I will look into the other novels in the future hopefully if my schedule allows it. Happy reading!

If you want the "pieces of wisdom and deepness" rayon said, Sentimental Swordsman Ruthless Sword is the book you're looking for.... Has a intriguing story too... I like this the most, I think...

TSE is very good too. More actions and an detective-like story. It's not so well written as SSRW and is not soo deep. It's more like a thriller... more strange situations...escaping... action, fights... girls.... very good too.

The translation of the subsequent chapters of Tianlong Babu/Demigods and Semidevils is currently on hold due to the publication of the 3rd/new edition, which came out about 10 days ago. If I recall right, the translator, Moinllieon, wants to review the new edition first before continuing. The changes made in the new edition are supposed to be quite significant. I agree - cause even YG has to doubt himself on why he doesn't just off her, comparing the current situation to that of a scenario where the she is actually a he. Also, next down to XLN, would probably come LMC and HR before it would get to GF

I kinda remember the quotes (more like situations :/ ) but favorite romance quotes for me are the definitley the ones from when the couple were in the Tomb prior to YG's dicovery of a posible cure via reversal of preasure points, the one where he argues with the martial arts hero at his first *reunion* with XLN (there are so many of them - poor YG TT_TT ) where he basically says - so what if shes my teacher, i love her and thats that (which will really sound wierd in modern day setting... makes me think of the teacher-student scandals in the US -_- ).

The next one is in a part not yet listed... so i caution... SPOILERS!!!! and since I am not sure if there is a spoiler tag (or any other vb forum codes besides bold, italics, etc :/ ) I will just list it a little far below in a different color.

Next favorite line is when he is in passion flower valley where he basically denies any probablity of him having a concubine and says that well society may make it normal - and advises - that a man should have 5 wifes and 7 concubines, he needs and only wants XLN.


I think it was also pretty romantic as he waited each day for the return of XLN during that decade (i think it was 10 years :/ - man, after this whole thing is translated, I really gots to reread the whole thing in one shwoop) long wait.

Anyways, most of the stuff I find romantic was where he would defy taboos, stigmas, etc. (societal and what not), cause it kinda shows the enduring commitment and love he has for xln

I would probably suggest the time when they were very intimidate...their kisses were so pure and so true...anyone who can capture such a view would be filled with sweet love and passion for that moment..hahax..their exchange in talks is even more intriguing..they share an extraordinary relationship which no couple or lover can possess in this real world...its really a pity...anyways i may be able o translate in the beginning of November..i would try my best if possible..im just a begginer in translating...

see the chapter when Yang Guo and Xiao Long nu left together to kill GJ and HR...that part i cherish most and Chapter 39...its the best i would probably say...more heart-filling then just fighting scens...anyway YiDeng once said that YG and XLN were the best couple he had seen even better than GJ and HR..
