    Default Shoot Out

Perhaps the two most famous projectile fighters are Eastern Heretic and Little Flying Dagger Li.

If the two were to meet in a crossover story who would win?

Dagger Lee. The Divine Finger Snap was awesome, but never described in the almost godly terms that Gu Long described the flying dagger.

Little Li's Flying Dagger also had the reputation of "never released in vain". If it was thrown at Huang Yaoshi, it would probably rebound off the ten pebbles which Huang Yaoshi flicked at Li Xunhuan, fly off in some random direction, rebound back and then lodge itself in Huang Yaoshi's throat. Huang Yaoshi's only chance is to flick pebbles at Li Xunhuan before he completes his throwing motion, interrupting his ability to throw properly - the way Shangguan Jinhong managed to defeat Li before his ego got the better of him.

But that's just Gu Long's way of description.

In that case, the only way to win Dagger Li is to strike first.
OT: Would the Dragon Palms be useless too? The flying dagger will simply pierce through it?

In all of the Li Xunhuan _and_ Ye Kai fight scenes written by Gu Long, I don't recall a single instance where the 'throwing motion' was ever described and more specifically, GL took pains to repeatedly say how nobody could see how the dagger was released. If Huang Yaoshi could even see the throwing motion, he wins.
