This series is the pretty Alyssa I ever see, love her in here she did very good job and very pretty.

Zhao Min was very cute and pretty. In my opinion, she was prettier than Zhou Zhiruo and Xiao Zhao, so I liked her from my first impression.

I think Alyssa's portrayal was quite good, esp. in the scenes when she's bickering with Zhang Wuji. Maybe she was a bit overly cute, but she made Zhao Min even more lovable.

Oh gee now I'm going to get started on what a great couple ZWJ + ZM are.

I love that scene when Wuji starts accusing her of murdering Zhu Er and stealing his yifu's tu long dao, and then Zhao Min cries to Wuji, "Did you know that for you, I already died once? That for you, my brother is dead? That for you, I betrayed my family? That for you, I caused the death of my brother and am going to cause the death of my father? For you, I ran away from my marriage, because the person I love is you!" Something along those lines. But I remember that scene was the first one in HSDS that made me cry.

Actually I didn't like Alysa at first but after this series i have different think about her she very tallent a pretty girl she one of my fav idol now.

yea, i think she was OVERlY-cute too. i little less cute, i thought her character would be a little more serious, and less playful. i know she's suppose to be a princess and all. but yeaaa, her character was just too SMiLY all the time......


who was the one girl, where her mom was Kim Hoa Baba? i still cant really figure out what that was about.... like how KHB was a traitor? but they still needed her to be leader? someone explain to me. plz [:

I didn't have much against Alyssa's cuteness, maybe because I am quite drawn by cuteness, but I think that it wasn't like the script gave her much opportunity to be extremely ruthless. The only time when ZM's somewhat ruthless is at Wan An Si, but even then, she completely softens up when Wuji (Alec Su) arrives.

Plus, I think that there's no need for the ZM in the adaptation to be completely similar with the ZM in the book. Alyssa gave her character a unique personality and stuck with it. Also Alyssa and Alec have amazing chemistry.

There's one saying made my ZM at the end that I don't understand.

She told ZWJ that she wants him to "draw her eyebrows" when they get old.

I've heard this saying somewhere in some other series also, but I don't understand the meaning behind it. I've thought of all possibilities, but it's still to vague.

Can anyone shed light for me on this particular saying?

"终南山后，活死人墓，神雕侠侣，绝迹江湖。" This just says "behind ZhongNan mountain, living dead tomb, condor hero, vanishes from this world" and "杨姊姊，杨姊姊！" sister Yang called by that lil girl proves that she is either a Yang descendant (surname) or is related because she knows the living dead tomb and the location... which no or not much people know about (other than the servants).

But I have to agree with you on ZZR...because first of all, ZWJ and ZM are completely meant for each other...it doesn't matter that ZZR came first, since ZWJ and ZM are these completely different people but they're soulmates. And I sympathize with ZZR at times...it probably sucked for her when ZWJ left her at the wedding, but she should've been more understanding about it. And she basically used Song Qingshu's love for her to help plot revenge against ZWJ. At that point, saying ZZR is the best is basically the equivalent of saying Li Mochou rocks. Now, ZM's done some evil things, but I hate it when people use others.
