Can't believe that "Chi Bi" still in filming and still there is no clear screen capture of main cast like Tony Leung, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Vicki! According to production plan it's supose to be complete by end of October unfortunately due to various delay, the filming now will complete by end of November

Vicki Zhao Does Not Mind Filming Nude Scenes

Vicki Zhao Wei appeared at a Metro Radio interview yesterday. She revealed that she will stay in Hong Kong for several days and will be taking the opportunity to shop there. Afterwards, she will return to Beijing to continue filming John Woo's new movie, "Red Cliff"《赤壁》.

Regarding recent rumors with musician, Li Quan, Vicki said that she has known him for many years. The first time Vicki heard of Li's name was when Andy Lau Tak Wah told her that was a man whose features resembled hers.

Vicki felt that Li resembled her more closely than even her own brother. Li was born in the same year that Vicki's elder brother was born in. At the same time, Vicki was the same age as Li's younger sister. Their ages were a coincidence.

Recently, Tang Wei and Fan Bing Bing have made nude appearances in their movies. Was Vicki brave enough to appear nude in movies as well? Vicki said that filming nude scenes was not a problem if one was serious about acting. As long as it was not a porn film and the script necessitated the nudity, she did not mind.

Vicki was surprised that film producers have not requested her to film in the nude in the past. Was this due to the fact that Vicki will demand an astronomical fee before accepting to film a nude scene? Vicki answered that her decision will be dependent on the Director. Money was not the key factor.

Vicki admitted that she greatly admired Director Ang Lee.

Has anyone else seen Lust, Caution by Ang Lee yet? I have and to tell you the truth I'm glad Vicki was not a part of this movie based on the nude scenes which turned up in the film. Don't get me wrong. I admire Ang Lee and the majority of his films but I don't think this was one of his best films. It was good but it was, to me, too explicit and not quite necessary to the film. It is an NC-17 rated film, higher than R rated, which means no one under 17 can see it. Most movies try to avoid the NC-17 rating and will cut out scenes to make it so. This will never show in it's present form in China. Many scenes will have to be cut. However, as a film maker/director, it is Ang Lee's perogative to film it as he sees fit. I just didn't think that amount of nudity was needed to convey his message. If I were the actress I would also demand a high pay to film that type of scenes! I read somewhere that Ang Lee had contacted Shu Qi and told her she was a great actress but he was looking for someone else. I'm sure many actresses, I hear even ZZY, were clamoring for this role which ultimately went to the fairly unknown Tang Wei. Anyone who acts in an Ang Lee film is bound to become famous internationally which is why I'd like Vicki to get that chance. I'm just glad Vicki wasn't in this one. She has had a slight nude role in a Time to Love with Lu Yi. Is it just me or did I see a nipple patch in that scene? Funny if the director missed that!
