Is Zuo LengChan's Han Bing Zhang or Han Bing Zhen Qi?

Also, XZ may have absorbed TSTL's - Ba Huang Liu He Wei Wo Du Zhuang Gong but he never learned it.

Additionally, i'm pretty sure that both YG and XLN learned QZ's inner power. That's when YG's memorization of QZ's inner power from his previous QZ master helped.

Further, LHC never learned - Tian BoGuang's Fast chops.

Finally, regarding QF. We are not even sure of what he learned during his time in Shaolin. Classifying it as Shaolin Mid-Level Martial Arts may be underestimating things a bit.

Otherwise, good attempt at this compendium to JY's martial arts.

    Ramblings,
    Han Solo

Well, thanks everyone. I've edited both YG and XLN... Now it's just QZ Martial Arts.

Also for LH, I think a fighter in his caliber should be able to memorize and do exactly the same as TBG after facing his fast chops endless times in XAJH.

But neverthless I changed it to mimicking only.

Han Bing Zhang is the technique used; Han Bing Zhen Qi is the internal energy used to power the Han Bing Zhang.

The Mandarin name is Taizu Changquan.

It was said to have been created by the founder of the Song dynasty.

Below are some postures of Founder's Long Fist.

Huang Yao Shi also had Luo Ying Shen Jian Zhang, which was pretty unique because it is a set of palm techniques derived from sword techniques. I think in the third revision though the name was changed to Tao Hua Luo Ying Zhang, not nearly as nice as the original name.

There really wasn't a "Sun Moon Sect Martial Art". The Sun Moon Sect was more just a conglomeration of martial artists, much like the Ming Sect, in that each had different backgrounds in martial arts and the Sect was not really a "school" of martial arts.

And yes, DFBB's version is not the complete original. NO ONE has the complete original.

I disagree, bliss. If nothing else, in his battle with Fangzhen, Ren Woxing stated that he would be using "the orthodox techniques of my Sun Moon Sect" to fight. So it should have a certain style to it.

Hmmm I went and reread the chapter, you are right, Ren Woxing does refer to his Sun Moon Sect's Orthodox martial arts, so I guess there is some classification of Sun Moon Sect Martial Arts.

Few other martial arts I picked up from the chapter:

    Fang Zheng abbot:
Qianshou Rulai Zhang - Thousand hand Buddha Palms

    Zuo Lengchan:
Da Songyang Shenzhang - Great Songyang Divine Palms

    Guo Xiang

    - E Mei Martial Arts, including sword techniques (inventor)
    - Parts of 9 Yang (less than what ZSF absorbed)
    - The Descending Flower Swordsmanship including a technique called 'Thousands and Myriads of Purple and Red' (derived from Huang YaoShi's Divine Descending Flower Sword Palms)
    - Whisking Acupoint Orchid Hand
    - Some QuanZhen Sword Techniques including 'Celestial Gentry Topping Apart'
    - Some Dog Beating Stick Techniques including 'Mean Hound Blocking the Road' stance (mimicking only, used as a sword technique)
    - Some Jade Maiden Sword Techniques including 'A Small Orchard for Chrysanthemum' (taught by Xiao Long Nu)
    - Some palm techniques including 'Si Tong Ba Da' or 'Extend in all Directions' (taught by Yang Guo, used as a sword stance)
    - Some Loach Manoeuvres evation techniques (mimicking Ying Gu's original techniques)
    - Yi Yang Zhi (taught by Wu XiuWen, but far from perfect)
    - Vacant Fists (taught by Zhou BoTong)
    - Iron Palm Techniques (taught by Wan Yan Ping, Wu XiuWen's wife)
    - Some Shaolin's LouHan Fist Techniques including 'The Sea of Bitterness has no Bounds stance' (learnt from the 2 Arhat statues given by Reverend WuSe)
    - Jin Lung Fa Wang's basic/intermediate Tibetan Martial Arts
    - Some additional Peach Blossom Island Martial Arts
    - 'The Flying Swallow Circling Away' lightness of Kungfu Techniques
    - Some of Jin Lung Fa Wang's Dragon and Elephant Wisdom Dexterity
    - Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy

**** In HSDS first edition, Guo Xiang is also stated to have performed Ling Bu Wei Bo, however this not NOT the same LBWB that Duan Yu learnt in Tian Long Ba Bu novel. This LBWB is a graceful evasion techniques, part of the Ancient Tomb Martial Arts, taught to her by Xiao Long Nu

    I'm impressed !
