Strange. You should be able to engage him in a fight the 2nd time around. For the 'Fei Hu Wai Zhuan' story, here is what I did.

Step 1: Fought with that Ji Du Wang guy. After I won, he told me to take whatever I want from his house. I got the 2 pages of Hu Family Sabre Manual.
Step 2: Gave that 2 pages to Hu Fei. Asked Hu Fei to join.
Step 3: Went to find Miao Ren Feng and saved him from Shen Long Jiao.
Step 4: Hu Fei talked to him (about his father's death and all that).
Step 5: Went to find Ji Du Wang, fought with him (I think Hu Fei is a must in this battle). I forgot whether the guy will die or not after we won, but I got a potted plant.
Step 6: Brought plotted plant to Medicine King (that place surrounded by read trees near the main character's house). You figure yourself how to get in

Step 7: Met Cheng Ling Su there. Gave her the potted plant to make the antidote. Asked her to join (she will only join if Hu Fei is in the group).
Step 8: Went back to MRF and gave him the antidote. Hu Fei fought with MRF. Hu Fei won. Got 'Fei Hu Wai Zhuan'.

thanx alot.haha tats the part i've been wondering.everytime i go there there seem too be some kinda invisible poisonous mist tat makes the main character faint.i remeber somewhere someone mentioning the after eating the toad in a cave will make u imune to all poison.i fed it to DY,it said resistance to posion +100.

Sorry to say. But the toad won't help in this particular case. I try the toad before. I still faint when I go near the house.

Take this advice from the main character "Where there's poison, there's bound to be an antidote nearby".

1. Use as keys for one of the 14 books in a nameless island.
2. Give it to MRF
3. Whoever you will use the most, the main character will get his HP maxed out anyway
4. Icy silkworm is required for Ah Zi to join, and the honey is for you to give to Zhou Buo Tong, Pili Kuang Dao is sold by WXB, he will sell different things at different inns.

You can buy 'Pi Li Kuang Dao' from WXB if u see him at the inn where you first met Duan Yu.

Do u have Shi Po Tian with u? U need to take SPT along to the Xia Ke Island. Then talk to every one of those leaders. After that, go to a room/opening near the entrance of the cave. If u r inside the cave and facing the entrance, there is a passageway on the main character's right side. U will see the 2 island leaders in there. Just talk to them. The rest is child's play.

Well the two daos required for the book Yuan Yiang Dao is Yuan Dao and Yiang Dao.

Pi Li Dao Fa = See Feng Qingyang's answer.

Dragon Sabre = Go to Ming Cult headquarter (the building that look like a mosque), fight Yang Xiao, fight Cheng Kuan, look for an underground tunnel at the headquarter, find a letter and Qian Kuan Da Nuo Yi, go to Brightness Peak, fight all the righteous sects there, the Ming Cult member will ask u to become leader after u won and u will tell them about the letter appointing Xie Xun as leader, go find Xie Xun, talk to him, go find Cheng Kuan at his house, kill Cheng Kuan, go to Xie Xun and show him Cheng Kuan's head. He will give u Dragon Sabre and go back to Brightness Peak.

Heaven Sword = After u fight all the sects in Brightness Peak, go to Emei Sect, fight with Mi Jeu. After she lost, she will commit suicide and u will get Yi Tian Jian. But u will lost points by doing so.

Buy a drink for Linghu Chong. He will drink it and say it's not good enough. Talk to the waiter, he will tell u Mei Zhuang has the best wine. After that u can go into Mei Zhuang.
