I have no idea why it became a text file, but try and delete the ".txt" part from the file name

hi, does anyone know or remember how to lern ZBT's left/right fighting skills early in the game? The last time I played was many years back but now totally forgot...

After 2 whole days of searching, I managed to find a version that can be used for Win XP

Above is a link to hte forum I found it, there's alot of other mods to the game... u can slowly download n experiment

But I dunno if its a bug or something, my character can "walk on water" without boat... hopefully it won;t affect game play in the game... the nightmare is when the games hangs when u r days into the game

When you make your character at the start, your intelligence must be low. really low. The requirement to learn L/R is just to be dumb.

To be able to learn the left/right technique, your character must need 150 or more EXP to learn the first level of the Song Feng Jian Pu, which you get at the very beginning from Ling Pingzhi.

I am able to operate this game on xp without using emulator, just have to run through command prompt (cmd). The emulator kinda slows down the gameplay, even if i increase the frame speed. Btw, it was a successful attempt running jinyong on MAC!!!!!!!!!! need to use dosbox mac version. but gameplay is super slow... i cant even move...

Hmm... wonder if you guys remember the North Clown mentioned that the greatest secret is located at one of the 5 inns. at first he says it's at Yue Lai Ke Zhan, then if u give him another "orange" he tells you it's at Long Men Ke Zhan... any idea where is the secret and how to uncover it exactly?? haha... it seem like i am replaying the whole game because I just can't uncover this!!

It is quite a pain to play the game while it is running slowly on Dosbox. There isn't much choice though, how were you able to get the game to work simply through the command prompt? When I tried, I recall that it crashed my computer when I left the house and the game tried to load the world map. Nice job with the Mac!

Anyway, for the "secret", I believe that he is just talking about the 1000 gold (well, silver, but gold sounds better in English. ) that you can find in one of the inns. (It's one of the ones in the middle (vertically) of the map, either Long Men Ke Zhan or the one with Linghu Chong in it.)

The North Clown usually tells the truth, but skewed in a way so that it causes you to waste a lot of time. If you need any help with a clue, I'll be glad to help. I've pretty much uncovered every secret to the game (though I may have forgotten a bit too. ).

everytime i load Dosbox i get into the menu where you can either create game or load 1,2,3 but after that when i load or leave house in dos box screen window i get illegal read blah blah blah.

could some1 plz tell me what settings i should use for dosbox or gui for d-fen
