why are some people so serious about this?

note: there are hints of sarcasm inserted into some of the comments....well in mine anyway.

btw, yes, i do realise that Anita and Amy have brains, but when were they crowned Ms HK? early 90's! i was referring to the recent Ms HKs.

Nicolas Tse casted in King of Glamber 2005... with Patrick Tse Yin in a cameo

other scenarios which i rely wish to see, but quite inlikely:

Chow Yun Fatt appearin in drama again... even in a 5 min cameo

Andy Lau, Tony leung in a serial version of Infernal Affairs... with supporting cast as Shek Sau as the mafia chief, Flora chan,Adai choi, Bernice liu as their love interests, "friendly casting" by Roger Kwok, Gallen Lo, Liu Songren, Lo Hoi Pang etc etc etc

Healing Hands 2005--- this one appear in the advert but the real castin diff--- anyway here my hope: Set in HK 2004 with Sars period as backdrop, with Lawerence Ng, Lam Bo Yi, Adai Choi & Flora Chan as main cast, supporting Cheung Kafai, William So , cameo appearance by Louis Koo (as Adai's ex) Roger Kwok, Julian Cheung, Annie man, jessica Hsuan

This already happened in the sales presentation clip for Healing Hands III.

    26. I just want one where no one gets pregnant, especially after one night. This thing has become too cliche and it no longer has an effect on me.

    27. Liza Wang, Lydia Shum, and Carol Cheng all play villians in the same series! :

Pagaent winners-turned-actresses getting lead/important roles again n again after a big flop in their 1st/2nd/3rd attempt...... is not likely to happen after Anne Heung, Sonija Kwok

    unlikely scenarios...

    29. babies that look their age when they are first born. They look like they've grown by several weeks/months from the moment they are born.

    30. Charmaine Sheh declares she will get married and retire from TVB and acting.

    31. JY unbans TVB from adapting his novels and TVB actually gets the veteran actors to reprise in their roles or pick casts that fit their roles perfectly.

    32. Great Wuxia adaptations are made by TVB again (nowadays unlikely).

I wonder how other wuxia writers like Huang Yi feel about TVB adapting his novels?? I wonder if he will one day ban them since they mess up his novels too.

    33. TVB raises the pay for the actors and actresses so high that they refuse to act for any other company.

TVB changes its logo colors from red, green, and blue to yellow and black, and its new call sign becomes "TVBee."

I think she was referring to the more recent winners. The winners from the older pageants had some really good actresses. I heard that Helen Yung who came in second in 1990 has a PhD and has retired from the circle. Noel Leung is a good actress as well and came in 3rd place in 1990 as well. Yea, Anita won first place in 1990. She is now a very successful actress and is a great actress too.

Amy won in 1991 and Anita won in 1990. I think you were only referring to the more recent ones. I can say that a lot of them are not stupid in terms of academic achievement, but acting is a different story....

Technically, Noel Leung is titled 2nd runner up.

Second runner up is 3rd place while first runner up is second place.

I laughed until my sides hurt!!!

Don't understand why they don't do Gu Long, though. It shows that the problem doesn't lie with Jin Yong not giving them license, but their unwillingness to invest in quality wuxia. Imagine how rich our experience would be if we had Lu Xiaofeng, Romantic Swordsman, Legendary Twins, Bordertown Wanderer and Sword and Exquisiteness lined up. Raymond can easily handle Li Xunhuan and maybe even Ximen Chuixue, Bosco Wong would make an excellent Hua Manliu and a more than adequate Ye Kai. Ron Ng could take on Fu Hongxue, while Charmaine Sheh would revel in roles such as Shangguan Feiyan and Lin Xianer. Sammul Chung could try his hand at Xiao Yuer or Ah Fei, while a lot of the other supporting cast could lend a lot of room for TVB to groom their new faces - Tracy Ip, for example, as Ouyang Qing, wouldn't be that bad, and would be similar to the one in the 70s.. we could even ask Adam to reprise his role as Ye Gucheng. Then they should top it all by reusing the old songs, maybe singing them in a different style, but surely they own the copyright and can use them at will? Imagine Joey Yung singing Romantic Swordsman as a tribute to Roman Tam, or Adam coming back and singing Lu Xiaofeng.. but for some reason, it won't happen with TVB. =(

    35. TVB finally managing to gather all 4 actors who played the 4 Greats in LOCH 82 and putting them into one series as 4 rivals.

    36. Adam Cheng coming back in a modern series where he plays a super-villian whose character development rivals the legendary Ding Hai, and does not end in losing memory and skipping jail or having a crappy ending. Preferably Damian Lau is also in it. David Siu coming back would also be a bonus. I miss "Greed of Man".

    37. TVB to pair Michelle Yim and John Chiang together as a couple that actually end up together with a happy ending before I die (seriously, I've been waiting forever and ATV has failed me!!! I hate you ATV!!!).

    38. TVB to put real-life siblings in arch-rival roles.

    39. TVB to stop spinning the camera and flashing red to show really good kungfu. I hate it and it is nauseating and looks cheap. Get rid of the fake unnessary CGI as well.

    40. TVB to think of a good idea to put two main leads together instead of killing the unwanted party off in a crappy storyline.

    - It's been nearly 3 decades since LOCH 82 and it would be a totally awesome sight if Felix Wong is able to take on the role of Guo Jing in ROCH.

    - TVB does another miniseries like Thief of Time.

They come up with an entirely original script that doesn't involve the same things happening in a new setting. I.E. bakery/flower shop/restaurant/bank/hotel/casino/etc. etc.

The plotlines for most of the shows in the last few years are totally predictable. You can expect a few obvious and over-used plot twists to happen in every one.

TVB lets the actors/actresses write their own scripts and direct their own episodes.

I wonder what kind of stuff they'd come up with.

A gritty series where the characters may make darker choices beyond teen idol fare. I don't think the TVB censor board would have ever made anything like My Date with a Vampire series without it becoming a kid's show.
