LOL, I posted one but with a lovely gif of him....
When did he announce, just recently? I don't know how long they have known each other but their relationship was only rumored publicly when he was filming for QSHF early last year.
Here are some of his latest pics...I think he likes the first pic as he uses it as his weibo avatar.

I never watched any of Yan Kuan's series until now. Just finish watching QCHF and I thought he did a great job portraying Qi You. I was quite drawn to him and Ruby and couldn't bear to watch the last 4 episodes of the QCHF knowing he and Ruby will not be together. I am still debating should I watch the last 4 episodes or not. I guess I asked for it for being impatient and skipped to the end to watch the ending and then went back to watch the whole series. I wanted to slap myself because now I know how it would end I can't bear to the watch the ending. This actor has potential and I hope he continue to have lead roles because I look forward to his next project.
Yay! Another new Yan Kuan fan. I for one never cared for him looks-wise or acting-wise until his performance in QSHF blew me away. Frankly, parts of QSHF's storyline bordered on the ridiculous, but the performances of Yan Kuan, Wang Yu (at least for me), Zheng Kai (looks-wise...hahah!) and Tony Yang really lifted it to another level. I started QSHF as a Wallace Huo fan. I still love the guy, but his character wasn't as impressive as the others. Yan Kuan was really the best.
Actually, I'm not a fan of any particular actors/actressess. I'm more the type that if I like how this actor portrayed the character I'll go find more of his series to see if its any good. I don't stay consistent with any actor or loyal to anyone because I find that hardcore fans tend to be biased and doesn't allow other actors to shine other than their own idol. For instance, when I was reading through the thread of QSHF I was quite put off with the Wallace's fan because they seemed so rabid about Wallace that they insult practically everybody else. I never even watch any of Wallace or Yan Kuan shows until QSHF so I was able to watch the series without being biased.
^I never really paid much attention to Yan Kuan either but I would have to applaud his solid performance of Qi You. Between the two guys, I would be more of a Wallace supporter due to CP3; however, after QSHF, Yan Kuan is a pretty good actor and it's a pity that his talent is either wasted in repetitive evil roles or such small cameos that hinder his overall presence.
Does Yan Kuan tan or something? He'll be so light in dramas and then bam, so dark in modern interviews and such? I've been watching some side interviews and clips of Yan Kuan, he seems so down to earth and simple, quite different from what I've pictured him to be based on his appearance and initial impression. Perhaps due to all of the negative roles he has taken, one would assume that he's interior would be as cold as his exterior but in interviews, he's all smiles, which is cute. He's so laid back. Wasn't he rumored to be married already? Or just engaged? Anyway, I really enjoyed QSHF, all 3 leads did an equally superb job. Yes, even Ruby. Ruby has pretty good and consistent chemistry with both.
