oh! i like this series. i have this in vcd version.
its quite good. i would recommend it to everyone.
Ren Quan and FBB are so cute together!
basically its about the Si Ta Ming Bu, or the 4 guardians; Wu Qing, Tie Shou, Chuey Ming and Leng Xie. but its different from the Si Ta Ming Bu that we know, they sort of change the story line. here are some of the changes:
1.Wu Qing(Nicky Wu) is not an invalid
2. Wu Qing is not the eldest, he is 2nd to the eldest
3. Leng Xie(Ren Quan) is not the youngest, but rahter the eldest.
4. they are no longer 4, but rather they are 7 in all!!! they are joined by 3 gals in protecting the country: Ya Feng and two other girls. Ya Feng is Nicky Wu's love interest


FBB portrays a spoiled princess who after the initial first encounter with Leng Xie where they became angry with each other and fights with him everytime, falls for him as he for her. they are the loveteam in this series.
Ya Feng is at first in love with Leng Xie, but he doesn't love her in return.
Wu Qing loves Ya Feng though.

I love this series! It is really cute especially when ren quan (Leng xie) and fan bing bing are on! They are the only thing that is keeping the series alive!! lol. I only watch it for them cause they make such a cute couple! If ren quan was going to end up with nicky wu's love interest, i don't think i would continue to watch it! lol ^_^ I am so obsessed with them now!! lol

I think FBB & Ren Quan (Leng Xie) makes an awesome couple. I am like you, if it werent' for the chemistry between the two main characters I wouldn't watch anymore. Has anyone seen the entire series? I am currently on 18 but have to wait until the next episodes are released in Viet. Bummer!!!!!

yea i've seen the entire series. Saw it on tv while i was back at china and bought the vcds, gotta say, it's a pretty good show. never seen the other one (Si Da Ming Bu), tho...i saw the box set but it didn't look interesting...probably cuz the characters rn't hot enough....(ahah i really like Nicky Wu)

yea, i like RQ and FBB, they r cute together...except FBB needs braces....and the whole thing w/ her becoming retarded at the end was weird....n it was so sad that Ya Fen died....

I just saw this series last weekend because I hadn't had time to watch it. I love it and the love story between Nicky, his twin, and that girl. I wasn't really into Ren and Fanny's love story because there wasn't alot of love scenes with them. Into the middle of the series, Fanny sort of disappeared for a while and then shows up again towards the ending.

I don't like the ending, though, it's too sad and I think that a better ending could have been made.
