It seems that Bao Bao won't be able to take his father to the Olympics as he formerly wished due to filming conflicts. Recently Bao Bao has wrapped up Shan Liang Bei Hou and is now in Hangzhou filming Wo Shi Yi Ke Xiao Cao.

I saw him and Qiao Zhenyu together on some Hunan Tv show where they were on the beach, and it was really quite a treat despite not finishing that show, because they both seemed so lively. Bao Jianfeng looks much younger on screen. Xiao Qiao was cute too.

Oh Lady Zhuge (and everybody else in general), have you seen "Wo Shi Yi Ke Xiao Cao" yet? I've been watching it on satelite TV, Bao bao is FANTASTIC in that! He plays the son of a rich man, and starts off as the typical 公子哥 but eventually grows to be a very loving, open-hearted man. I love his on-screen interaction with Yao Qian Yu (leading female), who plays Xiao Cao. They have some really funny/cute scenes together, and they look really awesome on screen. Almost makes me wish they were a couple in real life, BUT as bao bao is now happily married, I shall say no more.

As a side note, I really like Yao Qian Yu. Though she's not exceedingly pretty, but she really grows on you, and she's a really good actress. I've liked her after "Xiao Zhe Huo Xiao Qu" (笑着活下去), which is very similar to "Wo Shi Yi Ke Xiao Cao", in that both is about a poor girl who perserves through many hardships and eventually wins happiness through her determination and good-heartedness. THOUGH, I must add that I feel that "Xiao Cao" is too good and kind, to such an extent that is pretty much impossible to find in real life. Yan Yang (her character in XZHXQ is a lot more real, so I feel that that series is better. But unfortunately, that doesn't have bao bao in it, which is the downside. Well, that was a rather long side note. but anyhow.

Hi LYZ, long time no talk. I always enjoy reading what you write. I'm glad you enjoyed WSYKXC. For some reason the storyline just didn't appeal to me, so I haven't seen it yet. I've seen Yao Qian Yu in a few series, although her biggest role was in Qing Niao De Tian Kong (an excellent, heartfelt series, highly recommended!).
