Was hoping that Rui En win but it went to Joanne. Joanne is definitely a very smart person so as not to step on others' toes.
From Zoe and Fann, soon it will be Joanne and Rui En.

Good to see that Rui En won this round. She also gave a genuine smile this time.

Also RIP, Huang Wenyong. I will remember growing up watching your shows.

Second best actress award for Rui En.

Of course, she had already won the best actress award at the Asian Television Awards for the same show, so it would have been rather strange if she didn't win it in Singapore.

Is it Huang Biren who won the most best actress award?

Ivy Lee and Huang Biren both had three best actress awards, I think.

Both are no longer with Mediacorp.

All the popular actresses are at least 30 years old in Mediacorp. Any rising female actress belowe 25?

Rebecca Lim seems to be a rising star but is already 26.

Julie Tan is only 20 and already has three lead roles, including in a blockbuster, 《星洲之夜》 A Song To Remember. Probably the one to look out for longer term.

Yes, heard of Rebecca Lim. Let's see the results in one year's time.

One year has passed. And sure enough, Rebecca Lim appears in both categories.

Jeanette Aw or Rebecca Lim or Rui En tonight?

Priscelia Chan or Rebecca Lim for supporting actress tonight?

Cannot imagine if Rebecca win both.

Poor Jeanette. Heard that she is nominated for Best Actress six times?

Besides Rebecca, who are the rising actresses?

In my opinion, Jeanette isn't among the best Mediacorp actresses.

As for other rising actresses, I mentioned Julie Tan last year. I still think she is one to watch out for.

Also Jayley Woo, who has had considerable exposure recently.

Possibly also Ya Hui, who finally got into the top 10 female artistes this year.

And maybe Carrie Wong, who appears to have been given some good shows.

Was Rebecca once called "maid-in-waiting" to the Seven Princess. Now, she has become the Queen.

One of the queens, anyway. Rui En is very likely still the more popular actress (she apparently got the biggest bouquet on Sunday) and has bagged more best actress awards so far.

From the mouth of Ah Jie, "Rebecca Lim is in line to be the next Ah Jie".

Congrats to Jeanette Aw. Finally. Hopefully, it will not be your first and last.

Possibly, the brightest rising star is Julie Tan.

In my opinion, both Jeanette Aw and Julie Tan's acting in the show were exaggerated and overly dramatic.

With this best actress win, Jeanette Aw has now matched the achievement of Zoe Tay. And surpassed that of the veteran Lin Mei Jiao.

I do agree that Julie Tan is a rising star. I suggested as much 3 years ago. http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/showthre...=1#post1061242

Watch out for Carrie Wong though. This newcomer already has 2 top-10 award, matching that of Julie.
