I think Adrian Pang is also in this show because he is supposed to be involved in a 100-episode long drama once he transfers over to Mediacorp.

Wow. What I read in a Singapore forum is true, ne? That Mediacorp is really into promoting local food. Chicken rice (years back when Thomas Ong just went back), nasi lemak, laksa, fish&chips... now fishball? Can anyone guess what's next? Maybe yong taufoo?

I think the pre-2000/2001 shows are better than the recent shows. They dared to be more creative back then. After Mediawork was formed, they became cowardly, repeating the same formulae again and again and again and again.

it seem the mediacorp is too ambitious wanna to compete taiwan drama like ah seng etc my god if it is like this haha we should see alot of ah seng drama but in singapore actor and actress.

Ah, this is so frustrating, another long family drama!! How long are they going to continue repeating the same formula again and again? I was never a big fan of Holland V, kind of too gimmicky for me... then came Double Happiness, equally lame... then another fishball rubbish show.... ugh.
