    My Fair Lady
    Every Mon-Fri, 7pm

Catch the beautiful Fann Wong as the talented but ugly Zhong Wu Yan in this light-hearted remake of the classic folktale! Cast: Fann Wong, Gallen Lo, Yvonne Lim, Brandon Wong, Sam Lee, Kent Cheng, Chen Shasha

From Jan 12, 2005, every Mon – Fri at 7pm

“When in trouble, look for Zhong Yu Yan.” The beloved folktale of the title heroine has been adapted by MediaCorp Studios, in conjunction with partners from China and Hong Kong, into a 30-part blockbuster.

According to the legend, during the Period of the Warring States, there was a woman gifted with immense abilities. Her name is Zhong Wu Yan (Fann Wong). Among the many talented individuals of that era, she stands out from the crowd, due in no small part to her knowledge of warfare, weapons and magic. Her gifts bring her to the attention of Emperor Qi (Gallen Lo), who takes her as his bride in order to help him manage the kingdom.

Zhong Yu Yan proceeds to overhaul the country, bringing with her revolutionary ideas that scandalized the entrenched bureaucracy and threatens to turn the kingdom on its head. Zhong Wu Yan also has to contend with four beautiful fox spirits in human form, who are sent by Qi’s enemies to beguile the Emperor and distract him from his duties.

Emperor Qi’s fondness for worldly pleasures thus weakens the country and makes it easy prey for its enemies. Disappointed, Zhong Wu Yan left the Emperor. However, Emperor Qi comes to his senses in time. Touched by his sincerity in wanting to right his wrongs, Zhong Wu Yan returns to his side and together, they guide Qi to glory again.

Backed by witty and clever dialogue, as well as an intriguing plotline, My Fair Lady promises a light-hearted treatment of the well-known folk story.

I don't know what the rest of you think, but I like how Fann looks in periodic costume.

Haven't seen Fann for a long time too. BTW, I heard that Gallen Lo is no longer a contracted TVB artiste. Is that true? Anyway, I hope the new drama doesn't flop.

Me neither... This isn't exactly a new thing to say on this forum, but too many family dramas like Double Happiness.

Surprisingly, I am actually looking forward to watching this show. I have not looked forward to any MC produced dramas for a long long time. Its nice to have a break from all the family oriented serials (yes, this is not a new thing to say but I like to repeat myself )
One thing.... Fann could look uglier. I remember watching some HK show about Zhong Wu yan too and half of the actress (can't remember who) face was covered in black. Eh, I thought that was truly quite ugly.....

It's something like hunger is the best sauce. I'm starved for something else on local TV.

I thought Moon Fairy was fine, actually.

Does look promising, from the trailers I've watched.

I didn't really watch Moon fairy actually, just the first couple of episodes. Kind of confusing and too slow moving for me. And the story is too twisted beyond words. Well received in China... hmm... maybe they like Fann Wong alot.

The trailers for My fair Lady certainly looks promising... i hope its not a case of great trailer, bad show.

I personally don't really like Fann Wong, but it's the 'ok' kind. I don't know why everyone hates her so much actually.

Waiting for silly DH2 to end. Sigh.. let that Jiaqi come back can already lor..
