Special Edition of House of Flying Daggers help...

Hi there,
Just wondering, has anyone here got a copy of the 2 Disc special edition of House of Flying Daggers with the cantonese dub here? I got a copy from Yesasia a few days ago and it seemed to play fine until chapter 8 when everything goes mental; skipping, blocky screen, starting and stopping. There's no scratches on it and my dvd player is region free. I can play ntsc dvds fine. Is it just my disk? I'm really mad cos I was really looking forward to it!!

I already have. I was just wondering was it a production problem or a one off, which I happened to get

I will check when i get back at home. I also order that movie (not sure what version though) and see if it has that same problem.

i heard about this problem. it isn't just your disc with that problem. sounds like a bad batch of discs.

is there one with the english subtitles that is out on dvd yet? i saw this in the theatre the other day and don't want to wait for a couple months for it to come out here on dvd in the united states.
