Wuxia- Code of Conduct

There's this one code that's always emphasized in tv series and else where...I'm not sure how to word it in English but I'll try the best I can here...umm...It says you can not learn secretly other school's martial arts. For example two men climbed up onto a wall and watched secretly at a teacher and his students learning and practicing kung fu. The two men watch and try to learn those kung fu moves. But they're caught and so they are charged with going against that code.

Sorry, at my bad attempt to word it in English. Anyone want to word it better?

What I'd like to know is....are there any other codes of conduct that all martial artist have to follow?

Like in XAJH, I think orthodox school and clans don't hang out with the unorthodox clans and suppose to hate them, right?

There's numerous unofficial rules in the wuxia world, including:-

1) Never betray your cause
2) Never sleep with your sister-in-law
3) Always pay your debts, good and bad
etc etc

3.dont hit women, unless they know kung fu
4.dont betray ur freinds
5.be nice to beggars, otherwise they'll bring an army of beggars upon u
6.be nice to little kids, they may turn out to be 80 year old and teach u some aweson kung fu
7.when theres nowhere to run, just jump off a cliff, theres always a tree to break ur fall
8.the use of poison and hidden weapons is generally frowned upon
9.dont kick a man when hes down
10.always fight 1 on 1. ganging up on someone is dishornarble. unless that person is way stronger.
11. be nice to animals, esp large birds
12. learning another sects martial arts without prior permission from the proper athorities is considered theft. + it disgraces ur sifu
13.if ure in a clan or sect and u do something really bad, ure entire sect is gonna get blamed
14.always stick a needle into ur food before consuming it, if it turns black its poison

15. Take great effort to examine all strange animals. If it doesnt teach you kung fu, gut it and and look for manuals inside. If nothing is inside, just eat them to increase inner power or gain immunity to poison.

well the wuxia code pretty much goes by the code of chilvary.
