Different strokes for different folks. How else could you explain that some people like a remake of the Seven Samurais more than the Seven Samurais? Or a remake of Yojimbo better than Yojimbo?

Most people probably haven't seen the original Seven Samurias... That's why they like the remake Musa - The Warrior.

For me Musa - The Warrior is comparable and slightly better than Seven Sumrias. When I first watched Seven Sumrias I didn't really like it. For some reason Musa did a great job of conveying the struggle better than the original ever did.

*shrugs* I didn't see Musa, so I can't say. But the thing alot of people miss out on is the nuances and the mis en scenes within every shot of every frame. Of course, sometimes you have to foresake technique for more engrossing picture, but the true genius and masters are able to accomplish both.

Musa works on a different level, with realistic fighting scenes, action and drama. You really thought that an actors head was being chopped off, and the arms being chopped off are real. The fighting is really good and makes you believe that its happening before your eyes. The actors also did a great job as well and you believed in the struggle they were facing.

Seven Samurias is a classical piece of cinematography for sure...

No way! Anaconda has got that beat! What more can you want? ICE-CUBE featuring in a 'non-Gangsta' movie and Jay-Lo wearing and skimpy top and sweating all the time. Yummy in more ways than 1 (probably why the snake wanted to eat her in the first place)

Bah, neither the Seven Samurais nor Musa convey struggle better than the insects in A Bug's Life. Also, the acting in Bugs is top notch.

Tell me you're not a fan of Indiana Jones. Either that or you've been brainwashed by George Lucas with all his changes. Remember, it's "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

Russel should have won an Oscar for his portrayal of Bud White in "L.A. Confidential" and then as Dr. Jeffrey Wigand in "The Insider". The Acadamy owed him so they payed him back for his more-than-average acting as Maximus.

Why oh why do you guys keep calling it "Indiana Jones and the Lost Arc"?!? You're killing me with this. The original title was "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and then Lucas added "Indina Jones" onto the VHS and DVD covers to become "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark". In the movie, it is still "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

I know I know, I'm making a big deal out of an insignificant mistake. Nonetheless, if it's among your favorite movies, I'm surprised you guys don't know the title.
