Am I the only one who's looking forward to this version?! The pictures look pretty cool.....Apparently Jinyong gave it a score like 85 after watching the preview. I won't get my hopes up though 'cause it's still a Zhang Jizhong production. But, at least, we don't have Li yapeng with us this time!!!

I think they really try to make it like anime.....YG hair is really freaky, in a cool way ya know...hey is it me or does he have a short spike on the center front? like right in the center it sticking out.....weird.....and he look too serious for a YG, i hope he show YG playfulness

Yang Guo indeed looks cool for the later part but its hard to imagine a stone acting like a child. He's got to be joking 90% of the time before having his arm sliced off.

I wonder what about the cast of all the other women. Most are supposed to beautiful...hm... let me see... it should be all except for the extras.

I'm pretty much attached to the loch 2003 cast especially the greats so it will be kind of hard to adapt to new characters.

Anyway, lets hope it turn out well.

I'm definitely with you there! It seems that they have trouble finding ways to show the wild and untamed side of YG's character apart from dyeing his hair red But it just looks kinda weird~~~ It's period costume after all, and YG should definitely have black hair like this:


But if Xiaoming's acting is good, I'm still willing to overlook this one flaw

I hope they'll airbrush the wires in the official pics. Reminds me of the scene in Troy where there was an aeroplane with Brad Pitt looking towards the sky shouting some macho war cry.

I also hope they cast a child actor before YG is supposed to be grown. Don't want another Louis Koo child-like phase. That's just freaky. HXM is at least 10 years older than LYF so I hope they take this into account. Is it my imagination or does one of the shots look like Fann Wong's version? They have similar facial structure, though LYF is much prettier IMO.

Still, looking forward to this as it's my fav out of the trilogy.

Apparently that's what they did:
The young YG is played by Xiao Dingdang, if you had ever watched Qing He Jue Lian (starring Shui Ling, Chiu Man-Cheuk ) you would probably remember him.

Which one are you talking about? I'm pretty sure they're all LYF's version though.....Now that you mentioned it, yeah, I think they do have something in common, LYF is chubbier though----and prettier.

I meant Singapore's version of ROCH starring Fann Wong. The frontal shot with LYF looks uncanny.

Its kinda weird for the PhoenixTV programme host, Meng Guangmei to be playing Li Mochou and i don relly think the actress who played Gongsun Lu'e really fits the role. I like the ones in the singaporean version and in richie ren's version (tho i don like yang guo in that version) more.the 1 who played GSLE in richie's version is my idol, but i can say she has an ancient look.
