I've nearly finished this series, and I really like it. Li Bing Bing and Lu Yi are sooo good together, they're the best couple in the series! I also think I've developed an interest in Lu Yi, he's a very good actor, and good-looking besides.

i like this series. but i hate that fact that Edison die so early!! I can't stand that!!! and Fan Bing Bing...............sadly also die. but this series is good and very cool to watch!!

She isn't that powerful, but she has really good Qing Gong and trickery skills. She's not a princess or anything...I don't think there is a princess...and she's sort of paired with Zheng Xiao Dong. Hope that helped you out a little.

Has anyone brought the DVD version of this series? Is it clear?

It's pretty clear, but the DVDs are stacked up, two per space, eight in total, five episodes each, about 45 minutes each episode.

Li Bing Bing and Lu Yi is my all time favorite couple in this series. Their chemistry is unbeatable and completely honest and sincere. I love how they love each other unconditionally. And even though eith very few screen-time together, they made it work PERFECTLY WELL! They look stunning together!

I would love to see these two star together in the near future.

As for Fan Bing Bing and Anthony Wong, they share a very sad relationship. Its silly how she died because of the love. I guess its better not seeing her the entire time, because I find her character to be a bit too childish in her thoughts and too annoying in her actions. Edison had a short job well done, he was convincing as Mr. Smartie and charming as a wealthy lady's man. He is ver charming in here and his death was pitiful.

Li Xiao Lu (Girl Who Tricks People), Dong Xuan (The Doctor), and Zheng Xiao Dong (The Son of the Soldier). Their love story is kinda weird. I mean, I think its obvious that he relaly loves Dong Xuan and only marries Li Xiao Lu because he slept with her. I Mean he sacrifised so much for Dong Xuan and she had surely given him more than he did her. I really pity the fact that they didn't end up together. And how Dong Xuan chose to live instead of dying with them, which more pitiful than dying, b/c she had to watch her closest friends and lover dies. I really admire her character and fell head over heels for her. Dong Xuan did an amazing job here too. I believe she's a new comer, and hope she'll act more in the near future.

Damien Lau and the big guy (sorry I don't know his name) were very funny and hilarious. Damien especially grasped my attention, he is such a kind-hearted fella. I adore his devotions towards his "sister." I admire his charisma and charm. He did a splendid job here as well.

Overall this series is one worth watching, I definitely enjoyed every moment of it. I finished it within 2 days. It is one you just can't put down.

This series been out a while ago. I still can't believe FBB and Edison Chen died though. The poster of the series has their pictures all big and they die in the first few episode. After FBB and Edison died..there's no point in seeing the series. I didn't finish it.

I watched this drama sometime last year and this week I just decided to rewatch it again, since I didn't really watch the whole thing through.

I absolutely adored the Dong Xuan and Zheng Xiao Dong pairing. They were so cute together and they made a better couple than Zheng Xiao Dong and the other girl (sorry, I don't know her name)

One question. You know the part where Zheng Xiao Dong stole Dong Xuan's hankerchief? What episode did that happen in? I keep seeing it in the flashbacks but I can't seem to find where it actually happen.

^ I'd have to disagree. The plot wasn't exactly pointless. I liked the plot a lot but there were a lot of parts/scenes that did not totally satisfy me. Especially in the end when seven of the heroes died and Dong Xuan lived.

And I absolutely hated the fact that Li Xiao Lu kept clinging onto Zheng Xiao Dong when he had told her that he will never love her. And didn't she see the many times that Dong Xuan and Zheng Xiao Dong showed the affection to each other?

I was disappointed when Zheng Xiao Dong married Li Xiao Lu before they died. Zheng Xiao Dong wasn't exactly all that happy to marry her either.

Li Xiao Lu's character somewhat annoyed me throughout the serious.

Dong Xuan was my favorite character throughout the whole series and I really hoped that she would of ended up with Zheng Xiao Dong

The way I interperet the ending was that she was just rememberin the past or something like that / or a flashback perhaps?

But can someone tell me where the hankerchief thing happened? I keep seeing it in the flashbacks between Dong Xuan and Zheng Xiao Dong but I never actually saw the part that he stole it from her. Maybe it's because I kept skimming, but if anyone knows mind telling me what episode... or what happened during the episode so that I can find it?
