At the very end, when the old lady kidnaps the main chars, did they ever show how she managed to kidnap the police officier? That was kinda strange.

Why is it that Joyce always played the annoying character? That is why I don't really like to see her act in most TVB series. Some of her other annoying behavior is like AR, WTP2 and U&DWTSOL.

I'm at episode 8 and the series is getting interesting. Despite all the bad reviews on this series, some how it got me into this investigation series. There are some parts that is pretty scary too.

Yes, this is Joyce's first leading role in this series. Joe Ma is OK but he still don't have the lead role feel to the viewers. If anyone remember Victoria Jolly in NJAPF, her acting improved in this series. Even her Cantonese is good and she plays Joyce's cousin, Vivian.

I think there was a small part on how she kidnap the police officer........whacked him over the head from the back...I think.....if I remember correctly...

Is the old lady we are talking here Loh Lan or somebody else? Seems like everyone in the island sounds suspicious in this series especially the young mother who lost her memory on what happened after the boat exploded and her step-son.

I'm watching this series now and it's not as bad as many people in this thread have made it out to be. It's not as entertaining as Greed Mask and has alot more slow parts, but I think Josh's review has been pretty accurate. I'm only halfway through and Mark Kwok's character Fred hasn't been that much of a jerk so far. Yes the series emphasizes his jealous looks and he has made some insensitive comments, but they've been realistic and understandable for the most part. It's obvious that Joyce and Joe's characters will end up together at the end, though.

I've finished watching it now and have to agree. It started out pretty good, but then got very repetitive with Celine suspecting everyone and forcing them to reveal their secrets in order to prove their innocence. There was little to do with the actual main case. I also guessed the Mastermind about 5 episodes before the end so when everything was revealed, it wasn't very exciting. Overall, I'd give this 2/5 stars.

That's pretty high in my opinion. It would have been better if Celine didn't have to suspect everyone and everyone reveals their secrets. Kind of unrealistic.

To me, Celine (Joyce Tang), the expression on her face was also over-reacted. She keeps suspecting everyone in this island that they are the murderer of her father. Sometimes she gets pretty annoying.

I think this show is quite draggy. But my gf really like the english song they played when both joyce and joe are thinking of each other. Anyone had any idea who sang that song or whats the title of the song? Can u pls let me know??

I remember watching this in the summer with my cousins... It was pretty good I thought... though Victoria Jolly prancing about in her short skirts was rather pointless.... And I was seriously spooked out about the old granny bit being possessed... I'm scared quite easily

I didn't like this serie all that much, Joyce Tang's character was so annoying at times! Hated how she just kept accusing one person after another! The thing I liked best about teh serie though was the minor/supporting artists Hehe, loved getting to see Raymond, Edmond, Mark, Margaret, and etc.
