Good news for everyone who loved this drama -- and who loves So Ji Sub!!

He is about to finish his military service!! On April 27, 2007, fans will be outside Jisub's office in Mapo awaiting his discharge.

His management agency (BOF) has announced that he will start work right away on a new drama, CAIN AND ABEL, that will be shot partly in San Francisco, California.

The production started out to produce the saddest kdrama ever.

The story is about a man who has an expiry date stamped on his life because of a bullet that is lodged in his brain. He is a Korean adopted by an Australian couple, but he had ran away from home a long time ago. He returns to Korea to look for his biological mother only to find her leading a fulfilled and blissful life with her son, Choi Yoon. He plots revenge on her for abandoning him.....

Thanks for sharing the info. I got the first episode, however, the subtitle I got from d-addicts is not synced with it, so I deleted it.

Really? Part of the series will be shot in SF? Do you know where I can find more info about this, maybe I will get a chance to glimpse at him. (Dream on)

Hi Baby1talk, no official news yet, as far as I know. But July (later this month) and August have been mentioned as the time for shooting scenes in California. The new drama will not be shown in Korea till February 2008 and not sometime in 2007 as originally announced.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks Thursday's Child for your information. If I know exactly which part of SF they're going to film at, I would want to come and see him. Well, that's not too bad, just a couple of months away until we can see new series.

He is one of the few actors who can express the painful smile without tears. This smile stays in front of your eyes, long...

    Good actor.
    Attractive appearence.

This was a well directed and for the most part well written series. Dialogue script was ingenious.

Only thing i'll never understand is that...How come they didn't have a scene where his mother discovers his true identity? I thought that was the whole point of this series and was waiting all along for it! It would have made for a sad scene. What a disappointment that was.

    I give this movie 8/10

Yea...I thought that was rather disappointing but I guess the director made things that way to make his audience feel that heart-wrenching feeling towards SJS.His mum sort of felt that sadness as she cries for no reason(while washing the plates SJS has eaten).

Conclusion is simple. The director just wants us to cry like shit and cry to death

    *possible spoiler*

Yea almost everyone around them new he was the real son except for the mother. We could assume that perhaps in the future, the step son would have told his mother the truth. But they should have included that scene...then we would have been really crying to death! LOL
