agree. Mashburn is definitely gonna retire and his contract will be written off the books, so in sense, this was a trade to shave some cap space for this summer.

If webber's knees hold up, this could be one of the most lopsided trade in years. The best part is CWeb isn't a ball hogger which will definitely fit well with A.I. (not saying A.I is a ball hogger or anything. at least this season he isn't, as much)

The Dynamite Express (DE) dance team consists of aprox.100 exciting dancers, both boys and girls, from ages 5-17 yrs. old. They perform for distinguished audiences throughout the valley, under the direction of Mary Ann Gooch

Some of their performances include: half time performances for the Phoenix Sun´s, ASU, U of A, NAU, and several other college’s. Stage shows at the AZ State Fair, Mesa Days, Gilbert Days, and Tempe Mill Avenue Block Party. As well as parade’s such as the Ostrich Festival, Fiesta Bowl, and Gilbert Day’s Parade."

Looks like good enough evidence to me. You should see the UNC TarHeels dance squad. They're pretty awesome. Their band is pretty damn good too. I like the atmosphere at a college sports game better than at a pro game (except for the NFL) b/c of their bands, halftime shows, etc.

Back to the NBA, what the hell is Ainge thinking? First he didn't want Walker and now he does. I can't wait to see Webber suit up in a 6ers uniform tomorrow night. I'd love to see a great shift of power in the NBA come back to the East, like back in the Jordan days.

What a joke... Gary Payton asking for a buyout of his contract after being traded to the Hawks so he can return to Boston??? What is the world coming to??

Also I wonder why so many teams including the Heat are going Ga Ga over Payton??? He's an outright/big time/ LOSER.... Any team with the dodgy"Shrinkable Glove" is sue to LOSE...

    Payton = 0 Championships

It worked for Alonzo Morning and Jimmy Jackson, and neither is half as accomplished as Payton. So maybe Payton is just following the newest trend.

Well if the NBA don't get its grips on this I can see the situation getting out of hand...

One day you might have rookies on low contracts say, Yao Ming + scrubs being traded to San Antonio for say Tim Duncan... Then Yao demands a buy-out of his contract so that he can return to Houston to team up with T-Mac and Tim Duncan...

I've seen stranger things in sport when sh*t like this is not controlled...

Payton is still a solid player. Houston or Miami would love to have him especially if they can sign him cheap.
Basketball is the second most exciting indoor sport, and the other one shouldn't have spectators.

Solid my a**... A selfish freak with a bad attitude, that doesn't sacrafice his game for the good of the team... A player who is certain to derail a teams hopes in the NBA Play-Offs... That kind of player a team does not need...

I hope Shaq and Riley can come to thier senses... Or does Shaq want a second dose of Gary Payton... If he goes to Miami and doesn't start he'll whine 24/7... They are already bringing in trouble by signing Zo... So they can do without a second trouble maker...

The only way Gary Payton is going to win a Championship is being left off the play-off roster... Watching the play-offs on the bench and wearing street clothes....

His "mouth" is the greatest part of the game... So sitting on the Maimi bench wearing street clothes is the best role I can envision for Gary Payton if he goes to Miami...

Get past the hate. Whether you want to admit it or not Payton can be a solid role/bench players for most teams. (start for contenders like Houston and Miami)

No attitude problems this year either. He complained a bit when he was traded to Boston but he went to training camp and was a total pro about it. Nothing negative about him since.

GP is a solid PG that can run a half court or fast break offence. In other words he actually plays like a PG and a PG sacrifices his game for the good of the team.

He hasn't said much since the trade at the beginning of the season??? Hmmm.... I recall throughout the season he's been saying he'll stay in Boston... Not stay in Boston... Wants to be traded to the Sonics... Is happy in Boston.... Hates Boston and will leave by the end of the season... Is happy in Boston... Hates Boston... Loves Boston... Hates Boston... Loves Boston...

Just sit GP on the bench and see what sh*t he'll throw up...

Like I said the best skills he'll bring to Maimi is his "mouth"... But the Heat could use his "mouth" in other ways than on the court... Like assigning him to be "Captain" of the cheerleading squad... And have him dressed in a mini skirt and pom poms...

Best skill he'll bring to Miami would be starting for them. We both know Payton could be a very good role for Houston and Miami (decent upgrade at the PG spot) If you think he couldn't be a decent role player you're kidding yourself.

    Payton did wonders in Boston.

    1) Great tutor for Marcus Banks, veteran leadership for other young players.
    2) PP struggled last year, he's doing great this year GP partly responsible for this.

Did wonders in Boston?? Strange that he's left and they've inserted Delonte West to play PG and the Celtics are winning a few including toppling the Suns today.... Seems like having another scorer like Walker (and not dogy shrinkable glove, Payton is assisting PP)... The only thing he's taught Marcus Banks is to 'whine' like a 'pig'....

Oh yeah and the only reason the Heat wants to acquire him is because of his defence... Well excuse me... What kind of 'defence' did he put up against the likes of Steve Francis, Tony Parker, Sam Cassell, and last but not least, Chauncey Billups... Payton was Joe Dumar's greatest acquistion last year... and an unsung hero in the Pistons championship team... Pitty Payton was actually forgot he was playing for the Lakers...

Everyone just "assumes" that Mashburn is going to retire... It is pretty much like the Bernard King thing a few years back... When he came back and logged 30,.0+ ppg for the Bullets everyone was going "gosh"....

So I haven't read anything where Mashburn has come out and said he's going to retire... I've seen stranger things in sports from Zo coming back and playing, and no whining his way back to Maimi...
