Mate - He's not just a "superstar". Last I recall, he's actually the MVP...

If you can't call a guy who's turned the laughing stock of the NBA and lifted them to the play-offs in consecutive years and also the MVP, a "superstar" then I don't know who esle you can??

If you can't call KG a "superstar" then there's no "superstars" in the NBA period...

No you don't watch him at all. That's all you've proven in that lil message. No way anyone who has watched KG play would say he's 1) not agressive 2) overrated

He's the freaking MVP of the league, most versatile player in the league, superb defender (ahem T-Mac and Kobe need picks to get past him on the perimeter) and he's overrated? Okaaaaaaaaaaaaay

Watch the damn man play, his go to move is as good as anyone's in the league. His shake and bake turn-around fadeaway is money. Angle of release + KG's height/length, not since Kareem's skyhook could a shot be called unblockable.

You can't be serious here. Bashing KG while Yao is the best sh!t since sliced bread. Only asians...only asians....

Basketball is the second most exciting indoor sport, and the other one shouldn't have spectators.

Imagine that, people defending Yao in an Asian forum. Let's go to a Serbian forum and ask if Peja's at fault for the Kings' post season losses.

I dunno let's try to find a serbian forum with a sports section.

Hopefully they have a more realistic opinion of their national hero.

Mate - you don't want to mess with Serbs - They're freakin crazy...

I was bagging Peja out a a sports bar one game where he was "clueless" against the defence of Rick Fox...

Next thing you know a Serb guy pulls out a knife and threatens to stab me with it (I don't think he was joking either... as he stabbed the knife into the bar counter before approaching me whilst shouting many profanities...).

Luckily for me I was watching the game with an off duty cop who stepped in to calm things down, though that Serb dude was still threatening to "kill" me as he was forced by 4 bouncers to leave the pub...

I've never bagged Peja out again - at a sports bar...

there's no doubt i want to see yao do well because they are many haters who wanted to see him fail. i am not a yao's fanatic. in fact, i criticize him on his defense all the time. yao is an average defender and won't ever be great because he's slow getting off the ground..

on the offensive side, he's very good now. with a little work and more opportunities, he'll be great because he has the shooting touch and can shoot over anybody. he also has an excellent hook shot, which he should use more.

Watch the damn man play, his go to move is as good as anyone's in the league. His shake and bake turn-around fadeaway is money. Angle of release + KG's height/length, not since Kareem's skyhook could a shot be called unblockable.
kg is not a great offensive player because he does not have a great go-to move. his shake-n-bake is what get him in trouble, forcing up tougher shots than necessary. defenders don't have to block his shots to force him to miss. it seems like he steps farther and farther away from the basket as he improves his outside shooting. why? with his length, he can take one dribble, step in the paint and shoot over his defender.

there are only 2 unblockable shots(not dunk) with the shooter could knock down consistently: kareem's skyhook and mj's fadeaway.

winning mvp doesn't mean you are a great offensive player, i.e. david robinson.

    *sigh* I'm speechless.

You clearly do not watch KG so stop trying to analyze his game. I have nothing else to add. If you want to keep bringing up KG when you are clueless about his game. Go for it.

It'd be like me trying to dissect Wade's game, I don't watch him often enough to comment. Seems like the case here with you and Garnett

    Dang it Pop!

play the big 3 on the frontline! you just caused the west's downfall.

the west's 4th quarter squad of ray, dirk, and tmac is just a bricklaying machine.

but i guess they will say it was shaq that caused the swing.

and btw, manu... it's an all star game, you're not supposed to take charges, and oh yeah, nobody paid to see you make layups...

Uh... no they don't. And don't bring up the words Vlade and "flop" in the same sentence either.

Vince off the backboard to himself was very nice. Looked head level from certain angles 2000 was probably the last time I saw him get that high.

AI calling Shaq "The greatest of all time" was interesting. Shaq's great but I'd put a few guys before him...(waits for someone to say Yao )

I think this year All star game was pretty even out... everyone play their part (althought lots of shot was taken and misses). I thought finally there is Team All Star game.

I don't like KG, but I definitely respect his game NOW.
Can't say the same about him a few years ago. He always seemed scare to take the shots at the end of the game, but I guess that had to do with confidence. His lengthy arms has given him one of the biggest advantage in shooting. It should be a crime to have arms that long.

His only downfall is he isn't a powerforward which he is advertise to be. He also can't motivate his teammates to play harder for him but that's more on the coach's fault.

Nothing but respect for his game. But he might possibly never win the big one in minnesota.
    69 is a nice number

i've seen enough of him. other than last year playoffs against the kings, he does not play like a superstar. it's fine that you disagree.

mj used to say the bulls belonged to pippen.
shaq called kobe the best player in the nba, too.
tim legler and a bunch of people said lebron is the best player now.

shaq is definately not the greatest player ever because mj, magic and bird were better. i'd also say the dream was as good as shaq because of his great defense.

yes, yao can be better than shaq offensively because he has the shooting touch and the hook.

I think Shaq is a great player because of his dominance in the paint during his time and is really hard to compare him with the older folks because they play different style.

While Jordan to me is the greatest player of all time...

We haven't seen a big man dominate offensively like O'Neal since Chamberlain. Yao is gonna be better than O'Neal offensively with his pansy *** attitude?? *insert 10 mins of laughing here*

I'd like to reiterate that doesn't mean Yao won't be a great player in the future but better than Shaq offensively? No freakin' way

Only thing Yao will ever do better offensively is shooting from the charity stripe.

Once Yao averages 20.0 ppg+ playing 70 game + in a season, then you can say he dominates offensively...

Please he hasn't even reached Ralph Sampson, and Joe Barry-Carroll status yet...

Let alone be compared to the GREAT Shaq in offense
