rite, great scene and background music. great combination
Yeeeh…give me five… I’m happy to know somebody out there agree with me, enjoying the great scene like me too. Their relationship are not just mentor n apprentice, there’re connected to each other more closely because of ming yee. The moments they run to each other n hugs affectionately really touching my heart.

I think it's very interesting in the first few eps with Sir Min and Jang Gaem - remember when Kam Yeung caught them talking to each other a couple times and she hit the nail right on the head when she said "I wouldn't even mention him to anyone, or let anyone look at him. And you already possess him wholely". It's almost as if she knew before the couple ever did that they were in love. I believe Sir Min fell for Jang Gaem right when he saved her, even though he didn't know who she was at the time. It was funny when she asked the foster parents and the foster mom claimed to be the one who saved him. Good thing he wasn't silly enough to believe her. Must've been a rude shock to see this middle-aged lady posing as his savior.

wen did geum yeng say that? but then again, if she really loved MJH that much she would realise if he loved somebody else...
u noe, even tho geum yeng is quite evil in the series, she had alot of pressure on her...and then her biggest rival ''wins'' the guy of her dreams...plus, her family expected her to act for the family...so, u can sort of see why she turned evil.
    ><
i saw a foto of Lee Young Ae celebrating her birthday on set with Ji Jin Hee, and she had this big b'day cake...and sum1 took a foto (which i saw on sum other forum) and JJH looks like he wants to eat it all by himself...its sooo cute! xD
i think both their personalities in the series is really similiar to their real life personalities xD (or maybe thats just me)

I think she's a product of the times. I don't really blame her, but her love was selfish.

She actually thought it rather than said it. I think it was near to when they were competing to be the highest kitchen lady and Lady Han met with some trouble. JG commented she didn't know why it happened, and Gaem Yeung or however you spell it said "Maybe you just have too much". Then she thought to herself how JG already possessed Sir Min's heart.

I thought JJH and LYA had the chemistry.. especially when(as you said) Sir Min is wiping away her tears and when he says that he'll always be with her..

JG shows affection for Sir Min too .. Remember when he acts like he ignores her? and she got all nervous and scared

What touches me most is their clarity of feelings. Nowadays or perhaps in real life it's so difficult to find someone who knows what they're doing. JG was always tireless and persevered against all odds. Even before Sir Min expressed his feelings for her he was always looking out for her. Where do these guys come from? Even GY was so clear about who she liked and what she wanted, although she went about it the wrong way. You can't force someone to love you.

Well, everyone's gonna be too old to play JG - where are you going to find a 16 year old who can act so well and mature gracefully over time with experience? I think LYA is perfect - her demeanor and gentleness emanate from her person. I don't know what she's like in real life, but she doesn't strike me as how she's described by the HK media. Apparently there were reports of how she hired *ahem* male escorts while she was in HK. I'm like WTF? Even if it's true it's none of anyone's business. So damaging. And they were saying how fat she was. Get over the anorexic trend! She did look better slimmer but seriously, who can compare to her, and she's confident in her own body so I don't see the effing problem.

She's not fat.. but the fact is that certain men in this world, in this era have too high requests for women(from the body shape aspect).

I don't think it's the men ... it's usually the women who have more stringent criteria for assessing other women. Women don't dress up to impress men ...

I wanna to highlight one thing ppl seldom discuss of- the intimately friendship between JG n lian shen. When JG lost the taste sensation, LS blame JG to not telling her the truth. JG explained that “somewhere you’re being with me, I’ll encountering them with great courage.”

LS playing up kam ying when she serves her the meal. 1st round, 2nd round….on the 3rd round, LS deserved to stop keep on playing her, but “I’m sorry, this time I really felt to vomit…..” she’s cute, so hilarious

One day JG was kicked out from the palace becoming a maidservant due to a conspiracy. LS prayed everyday, not prayed for visiting of the king, but prayed for JG’s safe n sound. The first time they met after JG come back from Jeju island touches me.

The most touching part between them:
JG saves LS from death after she born a princess. The moment LS back to consciousness, I was cried…….like I cried when JG’s mother die. Yup…I crying 2 times watching the whole series. The difference is: The 1st one, LS still alive, I cried as I’ m happy n touching, while the 2nd one, parents death, its sad n helpless.

JG saves LS maybe because she felt so sorry n regret for her, as for me, the most important point is that she don’t want to lost such a good goooood friend…. “don’t said sorry, without u, I’m no longer here any more….” Respect->>>>

I firmly believe the existence of such friendship n I really hope there’s a friend like LS around me. Yup….when there’s a dream, there’s a hope!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, does anyone remember the foster parents had a boy slightly older than JG when she first went to live with them? Did they ever explain what happened to him? I know they had another baby down the track who died, but I missed what happened to the boy. Or is this just a gaping plothole?

Did LS and JG fall out? I'm sure JG would want to save LS regardless of whether she had a boy or a girl.

they didnt really show what happened to their sons. they just said they die due to the wide spread of dieseas.

definitely jg will safe ls no matter what happen to her. their frenship is tremendously great.

i'll give u ten... i remember that part where they were in the jail. lady han said to jg that jg is like a gift from myeong yee to her (if not mistaken). awww... that part onwards is kinda sad where lady han have to 'leave' jg forever. sigh... i think if lady han didnt die, her relationship with jg is be even better.

i totally agree with u guys! i think LYA is absolutely perfect for playing DJG xD
in real life, shes so similar, even the HK reporters picked it up and said ''LYA, you resemble DJG in so many ways!'' (crowd cheers) plus, ji jin hee is really similar to MJH too! hes very cute and half-shy...^^
oh...for JG's foster parents, the two sons they had both died from a disease that JG was researching later...it was a really little part that i picked up somewhere...

haha im so happy that everytime i come back to this forum, there are heaps of new posts ^^

ok now i'll look for the foto of them celebrating her birthday...
