Agreed. The eyes' ruling in MDWAV2 is much more standard and everyone follows the eyes' colour rules. Eg. RED, GREEN, ORANGE, GREY, WHITE.Originally Posted by kidd
However, in MDWAV3, eveything is a bit messed up with makeup artist putting all sort of funny funny colour in, as long as they looked "cool".
TIN YAU - Colour still Red but with funny make-up underneath the eyes, looked like drag queen. (no offence to drag queens, but Tin Yau just looked weird)
YUEN NGAN PAT POR - Colour still Red but in final battle, eye colour turned white (huh?)
KAM PRIEST - Some funny greenish, yellow colour shaped like cat.
MR. X - Funny colour with no explanation
TIN NGAI & SIU LING - Purple
SHEUNG NGOR - Grey w/ cresent, I think.
This was also previously discussed in other ATV forums as well. Some of the explanation given by readers are as follows :-
Yuen Ngan Pat Por and Kam Priest - eyes do not follow the actual order because they are not "Real" vampires. Yuen Ngan Pat Poh became vampire due to blood worm, thus is not a real vampire. As such, those that he bit may not follow the eyes' rules.
Sheung Ngor - Not a vampire but made that way by Fate, thus need not follow the eyes rule.
MR. X - Turned into a two fang vampire, not afraid of sunlight due to Fate, thus is not a normal vampire but rather one which had been made to mutate by Fate. As such, can scrap the eyes rule.
TIN NGAI & SIU LING - Tin Ngai is born a vampire, thus a new breed, thus do not need to follow the eyes rule. Siu Ling is bitten by Tin Ngai, a new breed of vampire. The reason why the difference in eye colour is because vampire virus get diluted with each generation. Tin Ngai's "vampire virus" is genetic, thus may not get diluted easily, thus Siu Ling's eye colour is same of Tin Ngai
TIN YAU - No explanation other than make up artist thought that it would look cool
