An additional possibility (again, assuming that vampire and human physiological characteristics are at least comparable) is aneurysm. This kills a number of women in childbirth every year. An aneurysm occurs when a blood vessel swells to an extraordinary size at the base of the brain. This has been known to occur in women who are in labor due to the effort of straining/pushing they are doing to pass the baby out of their bodies. It's possible that an aneurysm might have killed Siu Ling as well; she died from the effort of straining to push her baby out.

Slightly aside from current conversations:

Some members and patrons have had the opportunity to watch the first episode of My Date with a Vampire IV (Yes, there is indeed such a series). I am wondering where and how they are able to do so and where I can also participate in such an event. I am an avid fan of this series and am very excited about the fourth installment, although the third failed somewhat as dramatically as the poor acting.

I have taken up the liberty to read through tons of forums, scourge through countless rumors, and read through piles of news. To clarify the confusion, there is a My Date with a Vampire IV. Joey Meng and Eric Wan are not in it, though will be as guest appearances. The plot is centralized on Fong Tin Yau's daughter, Fong Tin Ai, and her lover. Kenneth Chan will be in it, but will become yet again another character. I don't think this series is associated with either ATV or TVB as there are no news from either stations regarding this series.

Furthermore, I would appreciate it very much if someone would direct me in the direction of My Date with a Vampire III's theme song.

By the way, some of you have different versions of the show because ATV actually did a poll in Hong Kong, asking its audience to VOTE for an ending. The choice was between whether Sui Ling and Tin Yau dies or not. In the lengthened series, Tin Yau and Siu Ling do not die, whereas you see Siu Ling die in the shortened version.

Their vote actually influenced the ending, so what your see depends on where you live or what version you bought/downloaded.

There is no MDWAV4 as of April 30th, 2006. Stop spreading the rumor. You have no proof that such MDWAV4 exists, and it is false for you to say a story can focus on Tin Ai (Kylie Kwok) without ATV affiliations! Because Kylie Kwok is contracted to work for ATV at least for last year and this year.

Please don't spread false information especially if you haven't watch an episode with your own eyes and you don't have a reliable source.

While I do not have substantial evidence to back up my claim as most are from forums and not news articles, do you have substantial evidence to prove that there is no MDWAV 4? The folks over at the ATV Vampire 3 forum seem pretty convinced that there will be such a series.

There is a difference between "is" and "will be".
Since it is not confirmed. I would used "yet" instead.
MDWAV IV is rumoured to be brewing; fake IVs flying around; negative possiblities are mostly what I heard of. Of couse as a fan, I do hope there is a IV. Most ppl are convinced there WILL BE a IV. Not exactly there IS one right now.
