I watched the movie a couple of days ago, pretty funny, couldn't understand most of the dialect dialogue though, can only depend on subtitles. Somehow the humour is lost in translation, it was kind of duh when the rest of the people are laughing and I am like "What? Got funny meh?"

The ending is kinda lame though... But the movie is really quite good, better than most of those dumb slapstick comedy that HK likes to churn out in recent years. And Adrian Pang is really very very good... hehe, one of my favourite singaporean artist.

By the way, what political implications are you talking about? That people will all want to get married and have more children after they watch the movie, and then PAP can claim that their baby bonus works and then get elected again at the next election? Uh... duh. The political jokes in the movie are quite tame lar... no major political statement from Jack Neo.
