What was the logic behind Luk Siu Fung summoning Sai Mun Chui Sheut for help against Yim Teet San, Dook Goo 1 Hok, and Fok Yau in Book 1 of LUK SIU FUNG?
If Yim, Dook Goo, and Fok's martial arts were as good as rumored (which was indeed true in the case of Dook Goo at least), then Sai Mun Chui Sheut would not have been of much help because these warriors would have been more powerful than he. Luk Siu Fung would just be condemning his friend to death.
If SMCS could actually defeat these three warriors, then Luk Siu Fung is not doing a very good job in fulfilling the Golden Roc Emperor's objectives: the emperor said he wanted Yim, Dook Goo, and Fok *alive* so that they could admit their wrongdoing to his royal ancestors and hand over the money they embezzled from him. Sai Mun Chui Sheut, however, can only kill his enemies. If SMCS could actually win against the three warriors, they'd all be dead, and Luk Siu Fung would have failed in his mission.
Either way, it seems like the decision to call in Sai Mun Chui Sheut was a mistake.
