i feel that the ending left the possibility of making a part 2,

1. sheren and empress's war not ended yet, empress not taken care of yet.

2. charmaine's baby, a big potential for further development, she can't be living with moses, they are not even one pair.

3. moses may come back to revenge

4. bowie and gigi may not have died, he told gigi that they would get out. true, bodies were found but it wasn't shown they were burnt to death.

just my wild guesses.

lolz.. if my memory serves me correctly.. they found 2 dead bodies in the burnt house.. one of which has a fake finger.. meaning BoWIE.. correct??

i hope maggie's character lives on.. hahahaha.. i guess its always nice to picture her making it i the end.. right??

yep, the dead body had missing finger, meaning bowie. but you know hk show, if they want to twist it they can, is easy to find another dead body and chop off the finger to pretend to be bowie, further more gigi was so witty.

i am now rewatching it, is nice! i do wish there will be a second part, can't get enough of it.

hahaha.. yep, part 2 usually ends up horriblely.. BTW, i thik WAB ended just right.. i hate it when tv series are explained in depth.. (which rarely happens).. i like to use my imagination.. but there has to b limitations too..

frankly i think it the ending was good if they had made itany worst off then it would just be too horrible and nobody willbelieve it if not like that meaning the actors got off to a happier endiong then it would have been unbelievebale

this show is one of the best TVB shows last year and for good reason too..engaging plot and great acting by the cast though the plot could be even better.

mostly yes. before i used to watch korean, mainland, and taiwan too. but more focused on tvb series now. why?

No, i am just curious because for me, as long as a serial is good, it matters little if they are HK, Taiwan, Korean or China dramas. since I hang out at almost all the threads and only see you active in the TVB threads, thus I thought you only watch TVB serials. thanks for replying.

i gave up on korean and taiwan dramas. too draggy and dramatic for me as for mainland, eh...dunno. just don't feel like watching.

in my humble opinion, i find that each country has her own style in making the series.

for china, they are very detailed, big war fighting scene, serious conversation, normally no humour. their historical series are well liked by serious audience.

for korean, majority storyline first about love, second also about love, and third again nothing but love. recently getting better with da chang jin.

for japanese, actually some older series are really pretty good, heart warming, humorous and touching. they also like to use different occupation as a basis for storyline. recently quite often i find them cheesy and i have given up watching.

for taiwan, most of the time i don't have the patience to follow one complete series, i think not even one episode. very draggy. the worse is the youngsters will try to be humorous in their conversation which i don't find it funny at all. cheesy and forced. yawn yawn.

the best is TVB!! exciting and huge variety of plots, and the way they plot it is relatively fast. and the conversations (if you understand cantonese) are often very humorous and can really make you laugh heartily!

oh momoko! i certainly agree with you! taiwan dramas before are very very dramatic. all the performers cry with all their nose stuffs flowing and wailing like crazy and these times, they try so much to act cool. esp the guys. and they always try to sound funny but there tend to become very very corny! no offense to taiwan drama fans, just my opinion here
i watch only ancient dramas of mainland production coz they tend to be more realistic. but modern nah.
japanese dramas are fictional. much like a fantasy story.
as for korean, it's always abt love love love! it gets boring!
tvb is the best. a balance of all though their ancient dramas sometimes gets too unrealistic
anyway back to wab
