Compared with Jiu Ye's Han hairstyle, I still prefer Meng Yi's Han dynasty hairstyle, since the parting in the middle isn't that obvious.

I love Hu Ge with long hair down... just like in The Myth... he looks younger than the other hairstyles

The Myth gets top points for beautiful costumes and wonderful styling. I think HG looked his prettiest there. I was hoping the styling in DMY would look similar since they're both Han dynasty styles, but I guess not. Oh well.

When recording, singers usually indulge in little habits like imbibing alcohol for courage or taking off their shoes to relax. Hu Ge stated that he'd tried the liquid courage method but it didn't work for him because, with his average liquor capacity, he'd be too tipsy to sing properly. And the secrets to his "reckless style" is to eat well -- he'd be in especially good shape after a good meal.

Hu Ge also confessed that he is a "king of forgetting lyrics".

"There was a time when I was requested to sing live, out of the total 8 lines of lyrics, I ended up singing 7 of them wrong," Hu Ge said with a laugh. Hence he sings for real in live events because he can still continue even if he sang the wrong lyrics, whereas if he lip-synced there'd be obvious mismatches.


Hu Ge professes to be an angel investor

TV drama Xuanyuan Sword: Scar of the Sky stars Hu Ge, Tang Yan, Liu Shishi, and Lin Gengxin, along with others. Hu Ge stars as Yuwen Tuo, a neither good nor evil character. Especially noteworthy is that Hu Ge is also a first-time investor in addition to playing a leading role. Asked about his new identity, Hu Ge lightly professes to be angel investor since, with his hectic filming schedule, he has no time to manage other matters. However, he has stricter standards for himself now that he has this new identity.

"Before, when I was tired from filming, I can still take a break. But now that I'm an investor I always think about setting an example, so even when tired all I can do is bear with it," Hu Ge said.
