I have a question for people who are better at Mandarin than I am. Does HG have a Shanghainese accent at all? I can't hear any, but my Mandarin isn't perfect and my own accent is a bit Shanghainese so I can't tell.

Edit: Hey there's a YM and TLY mention @ around 25min! Qi Wei talks about her "Hou Gong" (close circle of girlfriends--it includes Tang Yan and Dong Xuan from Unbeatables, plus YM, TLY, and another girl I missed the name of, not familiar with her...and the newest member--added at Dong Xuan's wedding because she got married off LOL--Zhang Jiani). I didn't realize YM was such close friends to the 3 main female leads of Unbeatables, plus sh'es friends with HG as well of course (well Tang Yan and Qi Wei I knew she was close with but Dong Xuan I only found out recently; and didn't know they actually had a "name" for their group!). Awhile back YM reposted something about Unbeatables on one of her weibos to help promote it, makes sense if 4 of the mains are her good buddies!

Message for fellow dog-lover mango_cake (totally irrelevant to this thread, but never mind ). I just realise LSS has the same dog breed as FSF! - Alaskan Malamute. YH owns this sissy-looking Poodle and an American Eskimo...

But LSS also has a dog called Qi Qi. Hu Ge doesn't have a dog.
