PLOT: Xia Tian's cousin is getting married. She forces her ex-boyfriend to come with her to the banquet and pretend they're still in a relationship so her mother wouldn't lose face in front of her aunt. The two women have always been at each other over their children's successes, and Xia Tian has alawys been taught to think keeping face is the most important. Unexpectedly, her cousin didn't marry the rich guy Xia Tian's aunt liked, instead choosing to marry her true love. Xia Tian's aunt and mother finally chose to put away their jealously, and Xia Tian's mother encouraged Xia Tian to find her real happiness. A wedding banquet allowed everyone to let go of traditional views and bravely live their own lives.

There's this new version of the Chinese Paladin game out on the market, so to further promote the new version, the game company has been wanting to look for actors/actresses to endorse for it, as well as film a movie version of CP1 (they're basing the movie plot on CP1 the novel).

They've approached Hu Ge and Liu Yi Fei about this matter, but because of their schedules and other endorsements, the chance of them collaborating is still unknown.

8yrs! I know I keep on switching ships (YaoLing to YaoYue and back again), but I would love to see them collaborate, even if it's just a game endorsement (I doubt they'll be in the movie).

thats cool, hopefully hu ge and lyf play the characters in the movie. is the movie going to be a real movie, or a mini movie 15 minutes only like duke of mount deer? if its a full movie, hopefully they have very high budget to do the graphics etc.

- There are stages on 3 sides of the hall, and the audience in the middle who can swivel their chairs to watch the stage required.
Pity we can't watch it overseas nor online. We can only rely on pictures.

Director Xu Jun's 'Everlasting, Yin Xue Yan' (永远的尹雪艳) Shanghainese theatre play - HG as Xu Zhuang Tu
- Set in the 'min guo' time period.
- Female lead hasn't been announced, but the actress has to be fluent in Shanghainese and is age appropriate for HG.
Most popular choices include Betty Sun Li and Tang Yan, but other suitable actresses include Ma Yi Li, Eva Huang Sheng Yi, Han Xue, Shirley Dai Jiao Qian and Tang Wei.

Producers have already locked in on a few actresses, but the final decision goes to original author Bai Xian Yong to decide.

Awe that sucks! I would love to see Hu Ge do live theatre plays. I bet it would be an amazing thing to see. I'm not too familiar with a few of the actresses listed. But I'd vote for Tang Yan. I like their chemistry together.

Even though I like the GeYan pairing, I'm not 100% certain Tang Yan can pull off a character like Yin Xue Yan.
