My preditiction is that Bogut will be the best C behind Shaq next season..

Typical Ozzie talk here. Asif Bogut > Yao, thats like saying carmelo > Tmac.

First trade on draft day if ESPN is accurate.

Portland #3 to Utah for #6, #27 and a future first. Guess the Jazz must have really liked Deron Williams.

The future First pick would be a "lottery protected" draft pick they acquired from the Pistons via a past trade. I mean, unless the Pistons somehow lands the lottery next year (highly unlikely), then all they'd be giving up is probably another 27th pick.

And yeah, what's not to like about Deron Williams? How can you not be high on him, especially after the NCAA Tourney?

$#^%@*#(!!!!! Babcock. Last year Araujo over Iguodala, this year Villanueva over Granger or Green. Good job drafting a position we didn't need and a guy who doesn't have heart. Fire that idiot.

Fingers crossed that my Lakers don't screw up.

I like May but I don't like the pick. It's a great PR move maybe not the best basketball pick 3-4 years down the line.

Moving Emeka from his natural position, gives them good depth up front though.

Man the Lakers passed up on Sean May.

    Probably a bonehead Kupchack decision

It was a great decision. Bynum > May

Lakers need size not another undersized PF.

he is bit over size and maybe will be slow. never know how good he is.
but i still like the guy.

I think the lakers made the right choice. They've picked a lot of good post players. I hope these guys could rebound. Baby Shaq looks to be a good player. I hope he get to play next year. Stupid David Stern and his strict rules.

My teams did much better in the 2nd round.

Roko Ukic for TO and Ronny Turiaf for the Lakers. If Grant wasn't an attractive expiring contract he would so get waived.

Boy did Taft drop like a brick in value. Some mocks had Bogut and him going 1 and 2 earlier in the year.

It's possible. Yao hasn't improve much. He doesn't have the size(width) and speed.

If Phil could get the Lakers to the Final...and not even getting the championship, I'll say this...IMO...It's not that MJ/Pippen or Shaq/Kobe is great but rather Phil.
